"Campsite without a safety concept - Our bikes were stolen at night at the campsite. This campsite has no security concept although everything is contactless. Check-in/check-out online, Store consists only of vending machines with a small selection, the bread roll service is also only possible via an APP. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place. Price/performance ratio does not match here.

"A lot has been invested here - You can see that a lot has been invested here recently... The pitches also make a great impression. It's a 15-minute walk to the sea. We and our teenagers loved it

"Customer unfriendly and dirty - We were given an unkempt lodge upon arrival and were accused at the front desk that we had dirtied the rooms ourselves. After being treated like this we decided not to stay and sent a written complaint. Unfortunately we only got our cleaning fee back (thanks to the photos we sent along) but no other compensation, for ruining our vacation, we did not get because it was the staff's word against ours. Thanks to Kompas Camping Westende, our children had no vacation this summer.

"Beautiful quiet campsite - We have been here in late September early October, and then it is quiet in the campground. The biggest drawback to this campground (in our opinion) is that the arrangement of caravan edg is not given a free choice. Caravan "must" be this way, car "must" be there etc........

"Top campsite - Very well kept campsite, packages top, not far from the beach and streetcar. Close to Middelkerke and Nieuwpoort and Westende bath.

"Unkempt pitches - Although the pitch had been reserved six months in advance, the grass was almost knee-high on arrival. (Premium XL pitch = XL price) After several requests it was finally mowed, but not after that. After three weeks it was a jungle again on departure. Sanitary was always clean. The beach can be reached quickly through the dunes. There is nothing for teenagers, but plenty for small children. Unfortunately there are many permanent campers and there is no vacation feeling.
