Established in 1960, the campsite has been run by the same family through three generations. …It is located next to the picturesque fishing village of Käringsund on the sunny side of the Åland Islands, where parts of the classic Swedish TV series Vi på Saltkråkan were filmed. Surrounded by forests, the sea, red granite cliffs and a beautiful sandy beach, Käringsunds Camping is an ideal base for exploring the unique nature of the Åland Islands. Nearby, a scenic 4 km hiking trail lets you experience the beautiful archipelago landscape. During the summer, guests can also buy freshly baked bread rolls at the reception. Käringsund is one of the Åland Islands' most popular holiday destinations. Nearby you can enjoy hiking, cycling, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, golf, mini golf and wildlife safaris. The surrounding archipelago offers countless opportunities to explore the unique coastline and nature.
