"kamp galeb - i am sure that i will not come again .the sea water was so dirty. over all it is not a very god camp. kids are playing in the dust … 😞😞😞

"Worst campsite I have ever been to in over 15 years in Croatia - We were planning to stay there for a long time with the camper. Already on the second evening, WHILE we were in the camper, our table, chairs and flip-flops were stolen. The site actually had a special offer, but this only applies for stays of 3 nights or more. Despite the incident, we were not accommodated at all and had to pay the normal price. The site is full of locals around the clock, from morning to night, even during the week (children playing, joggers, cyclists, walkers with dogs, young people getting drunk, even homeless people asking for money). We were here in the low season, but peace and quiet is not to be expected at any time. You are watched by the locals for everything you do and feel very uncomfortable. I strongly advise against this place, especially in the low season. There are much better places. Too bad about the beautiful area, we would have liked to have seen more.

"Campsite with upward potential - Very nicely located campsite. We were traveling with a dog. However, the dog beach leaves a lot to be desired. It is difficult to use the beach together with boats. The cleanliness around the site unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired, which is a shame as it's easy to get to Omis on foot.

Camping Galeb is located at the entrance to the town of Omiš from the direction of Split. With more than 200 pitches, surrounded by the sea and a beautiful sandy beach on one side and the imposing cliffs of Omiš …on the other, you are sure to find the ideal place for your motorhome, caravan or tent. The pitches and parking spaces at Camping Galeb are surrounded by imposing poplars, birches, linden trees and tamarisk trees, which offer you perfect protection from the summer heat and sun's rays, making your stay at Camping Galeb comfortable even in the hottest summer months. Even the furthest pitch is no more than 100 metres from the sea and the beautiful sandy beach. Although most beaches on the Dalmatian coast are pebble beaches, Camping Galeb is located on a natural sandy beach. The beach is not that wide, but the water is beautifully clear and stays shallow for a long time. From the flat camping site, you can walk straight into the water. There is also a simple swimming pool on the beach, surrounded by palm trees and sun loungers. Enjoy activities such as zip-lining, rafting on the Cetina River and hiking to explore the beautiful nature. Relax on the beaches, explore the cultural heritage and gastronomy for a complete experience. Omiš offers an incredible combination of active relaxation and entertainment, giving you an unforgettable adventure. In the unique setting of the Brguja restaurant, where the studio of the famous Croatian painter Joke Knežević was once located, you can enjoy a wide selection of fish and meat dishes, pizza and pasta, with a special emphasis on healthy eating, right on the sandy beach with a beautiful sea view. During the high season, there is an English-language entertainment programme for children, teenagers and adults. In addition, the campsite offers an extensive excursion programme during the summer months. There is something for everyone, as the campsite offers a wide range of sporting, adventurous, romantic and cultural excursions.
