"kamp galeb - i am sure that i will not come again .the sea water was so dirty. over all it is not a very god camp. kids are playing in the dust … 😞😞😞

"Worst campsite I have ever been to in over 15 years in Croatia - We were planning to stay there for a long time with the camper. Already on the second evening, WHILE we were in the camper, our table, chairs and flip-flops were stolen. The site actually had a special offer, but this only applies for stays of 3 nights or more. Despite the incident, we were not accommodated at all and had to pay the normal price. The site is full of locals around the clock, from morning to night, even during the week (children playing, joggers, cyclists, walkers with dogs, young people getting drunk, even homeless people asking for money). We were here in the low season, but peace and quiet is not to be expected at any time. You are watched by the locals for everything you do and feel very uncomfortable. I strongly advise against this place, especially in the low season. There are much better places. Too bad about the beautiful area, we would have liked to have seen more.

"Campsite with upward potential - Very nicely located campsite. We were traveling with a dog. However, the dog beach leaves a lot to be desired. It is difficult to use the beach together with boats. The cleanliness around the site unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired, which is a shame as it's easy to get to Omis on foot.

Camp Almissa is located at the entrance to the town of Omiš when arriving from the direction of Split. With 180 pitches, the campsite is bordered by the sea and a beautiful sandy beach on one side and the impressive …cliffs of Omiš on the other, making it easy to find the ideal spot for your motorhome, caravan or tent. The pitches and parking areas at Camp Almissa are surrounded by impressive poplars, birches, linden trees and tamarisks, which provide welcome shade and protection from the summer heat and sun, making your stay comfortable even during the hottest months. Even the furthest pitch is no more than 100 metres from the sea and the beautiful sandy beach. Although most beaches along the Dalmatian coast are pebbly, Camp Almissa is located directly on a natural sandy beach. The beach is relatively narrow, but the sea is beautifully clear and remains shallow for quite some distance. From the flat campsite, you can walk straight into the water. The campsite features three swimming pools surrounded by sun loungers. One is located right by the beach and Brguja Restaurant, while the other two are situated next to the mobile homes in separate areas of the campsite. Enjoy activities such as zip-lining, rafting on the Cetina River and hiking while exploring the beautiful natural surroundings. Relax on the beaches and discover the area’s cultural heritage and gastronomy for a more complete holiday experience. Omiš offers an excellent combination of active pursuits, relaxation and entertainment, making it an ideal destination for an unforgettable holiday. In the unique setting of Brguja Restaurant, once home to the studio of renowned Croatian painter Joke Knežević, you can enjoy a wide selection of fish and meat dishes, pizzas and pasta, with a particular emphasis on healthy cuisine. The restaurant is located directly on the sandy beach and offers beautiful views of the sea. During the high season, an English-language entertainment programme is available for children, teenagers and adults. In addition, the campsite offers a varied excursion programme throughout the summer months. There is something for everyone, with a wide choice of sporting, adventurous, romantic and cultural excursions.
