Hedmarktoppen ligger ca 4 km fra Hamar sentrum og er lett tilgjengelig med bybuss. Det er god adkomst fra E6 (2 km) og er lett å finne frem. Mjøsa med idylliske badeplasser ligger ca. 4 km unna

Directions

Going north: (from Oslo to Hamar) on the E6, follow the signing towards Trondheim. Continue about 118,4 km. After about 1h 15minutes look for signs for Hamar. You are supposed to pass the first sign to Hamar (that’s about a …minute after see the Olympic arena “the Viking Ship”, then continue for about 3 minutes or so, and exit the E6 on the second sign for Hamar. You will find yourself in a roundabout immediately after this where you’re supposed to make a left to enter another roundabout. Make a right and follow the sign for “Rica 2”. You are about 2km away from the first sign to Hedmarktoppen Follow the “Hedmarktoppen folkehøyskole” sign which guides you to make a left when you get to “Olrud Rica” . You continue on this road “Kåtorpvegen”, and keep following the signs for Hedmarktoppen. After about 1km you will see a sign on the left hand side (Note: the sign is Kind of hidden behind the bushes) but it tells you to go right, onto the extension of “kåtorpvegen” Go on about 500meters, make a right onto “Jessnesvegen”. After 300 meters you’ll see Hedmarktoopen on your left. Go up the hill and you will find the reception at the top.
