The location of the campsite just outside Reykjavik is of course great, and Hafnarfjördur also has a lot to offer. We highly recommend eating at the restaurant in Viking Village. That was great! But unfortunately the campsite is not as good as often advertised. The staff / owners were quite unfriendly... and the toilet disposal (toilet cassettes for motorhomes) was hopelessly blocked and the result was clearly visible. You could see it (in the cottage with the door open) from the outside and it was a disgusting sight. The owner actually said that she didn't know about it......, but it's very unbelievable because it's prominently visible.
