"Well located to see the cruise ships 😉 - Were there for one night with the caravan. The approach is quite exciting. Super location to see the incoming and outgoing cruise ships. Everything very clean, not cheap, but you know that before you stay there. Close to the Geiranger Skywalk. We would come again.

"Place in a great location on the Geirangerfjord - The campsite is about 4km from Geiranger next to the Grande Hotel (also has a campsite). Friendly welcome. Bread roll service. The sanitary facilities have been completely renovated and are very clean. From the site you have a wonderful view of the village and the cruise ships passing by the campsite. Fishing is possible from the site. Motorboats and a water cab service are available. Small children's playground. A tip: check in early to secure a pitch on the shore. Nice cabins are also available.

"Meeting point of the "dream ships" - Terraced site with a view of the small town of Geiranger, just 4 km away. The location directly on the fjord alone is fantastic. The constantly passing cruise ships are just the icing on the cake. (Take binoculars with you) If you drive down the winding road from the north, you have to be careful not to overlook the entrance. If you take the right turn, the road forks a hundred meters further on. To the left is "Geirangerfjorden Feriesenter" and to the right "Grande Hytteutleige Og Camping". Both campsites are right next to each other. The road that runs parallel to the shore and along which the pitches are located is continuous and has no recognizable boundary for me. Obviously I'm not the only one who can't find my way around, people are happily driving from one pitch to the other and using whichever wash house is closest. Very mysterious! The pitches are largely flat, partly gravel, but mostly grass. The 1st row costs 30NOK extra, but this hardly deters anyone. Arrive early etc., the best view of Geiranger and the boats is from the pitches on the left near the jetty. The sanitary facilities are tight. Showers cost NOK 10. There is a list of incoming cruise ships at the wash house. You can fish from the shore.

"Beautifully situated campsite with magnificent views - Great panorama, fair price-performance ratio for this good location and friendly welcome. Highly recommended for a short visit to the Geirangerfjord!

Profile

We have 42 spots on our campsite, whereof 37 have electricity. Our sanitary facilities was completely renovated in 2024. Here you will find showers, toilets, a small kitchen with sinks and cooking plates, a laundry room with washing and …drying machines. You can empty your chemical toilet and grey water, as well as filling fresh water. We have a playground. There is free WiFi in the whole area. We usually have available spots for boats at our pier, in case you want to bring your own private boat (max. 17 feet). Please contact the reception to check the availability. Dogs have to be kept on the line at all times. Important! We are a drop-in campsite and we don't take any reservations. Especially during high season (20. June - 10. August) we recommend you to arrive between 11.00-15.00. You get discount, if you are staying one week or more. For more information and prices, please check: www.geirangerfjorden.net
