"Very small campsite, great for dogs - We were at the campsite for a long weekend (Corpus Christi), so there was almost nothing going on. The campsite only has 5 pitches for caravans or motorhomes and 6 mobile homes. There is also a small meadow for tents. The sanitary building is correspondingly small, but very clean! The beach area (meadow, partly shaded by trees) is also very well maintained and clean. Our 17 year old son enjoyed fishing, our 12 year old enjoyed walking in the water and our dog was happy. The dog was also allowed to run between the pitch and the beach without a lead and went on the pedalo, which you can hire directly at the campsite (just take it and pay the very good German-speaking Balasz) The train that passes by the campsite is noisy but we didn't hear it from the 5th to the 10th. Be sure to take some repellent against mosquitoes, as they can be quite annoying, especially in the evening!

"2nd attempt at Lake Balaton with a dog - After we drove on frustrated from the first place without having achieved anything, we made our second attempt here, accommodation with the dog and corresponding bathing possibility. The staff were friendly and helpful, but there was no bathing area for the dog - we were told to take the dog about 3-4 km back towards the town, where there was a bathing area for dogs. The dog shower marked on the map cannot be found on the site, and nothing is known about it even after contacting the campsite residents. So once again we left without having registered. It is incomprehensible - dogs are allowed and fees are charged, but they are not allowed to move around. The previous negative experience at Lake Balaton with a dog is slowly becoming a farce. We are now traveling to the 3rd place today, let's see how we will fare there.

"Opening hours - We wanted to stay there on 22.04.2019. Unfortunately the place was closed, although it was supposed to be open from 15.03.2019. Too bad, the location is great. Otherwise I can't give an assessment. So ask in advance whether it is open.

"Vacation - Dogs were allowed to run freely in the water. Groundsman very friendly, takes care of all aches and pains.

"beautiful place - The CP Hameba is a nice little place, which is closed at night. The caretaker takes care of the larger and smaller ailments of the guests, he speaks very good German and is really eager to help everyone, cleanliness of the facility is top. The restaurant and a small store are within walking distance. The only disadvantage is the railroad line which runs directly past the campsite, several trains run there every hour, which causes a lot of noise, unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it.

"great campsite great care, no mass tourism, great vacation - We had a great week despite the hot weather. The campsite is small but nice. Everything is well guarded. And a very good groundsman who takes very good care of everything and everyone. We felt very comfortable. The campsite is right next to a snack bar. If you are planning activities, you should be mobile by car.
