"Pool relaxation with a view of mountains and birds of prey - One of the highlights for us this year. The family atmosphere, the location by the river and the view from the pool. We will be back.

" - The site is clearly below the road, so you don't notice the traffic. Access with a large camper van is doable - just don't get stressed! The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Good store, unfortunately no fresh produce, so you have to go shopping in Millau. Very pleasant in midsummer, as the campsite is in a gorge and therefore it doesn't stay hot for too long in the evening. There are always evening programs, which usually end at 10:30 pm. The atmosphere on the campsite was very good, the helpfulness was great when we arrived with our large camper van and - thanks to the lack of a mover - we were able to make our first contacts. The sanitary facilities are tiptop, very clean. There is a swimming pool, which is quite full in summer. But there's also the Tarn, one of the cleanest rivers we know. The water is so clear, you can see right to the bottom. In fact, if you haven't seen the Tarn yet, you're missing out. You rarely see such an impressive landscape. There are vultures that have been settled here. Not yet as overrun by tourists as the Ardeche, for example. I ride my road bike a lot and the Tarn has become one of my favorite gorges.

A department full of attractions such as the Causses, picturesque villages and two nature parks: the Grands Causses Regional Nature Park and the Cévennes National Park. In a magnificent setting, the 4-star campsite in the Gorges du Tarn, le Peyrelade, welcomes you at an altitude of 350 metres at the gateway to the Gorges du Tarn, on a pitch or in a mobile home. This campsite in the Gorges du Tarn is located on the banks of the Tarn River and has a 300-metre pebble beach, ideal for water sports such as swimming, fishing and canoeing. The pitches are available with electricity and, for the Privilege series, also on the riverbank, or with private sanitaries. As the Peyrelade campsite extends along the river, it offers a breathtaking panorama of the cliffs of the Causse. In total, the campsite near the Cévennes has 195 pitches, 133 of which are for tents, caravans and motorhomes with an average area of 100 m². From the opening to the closing of the campsite, the bar-restaurant offers a menu with salads, pizzas and complete meals for lunch, but also local dishes, all of which can be consumed on the premises or taken away. In low season, bread and pastries can be ordered daily at the campsite grocery store or at the reception. The water park is located in the centre of the campsite. It consists of a thermal pool, a large 100 m² paddling pool with games for the little ones, a water slide and a swimming pool. Dogs are not allowed on the campsite beach. The campsite has a large play area where children are free to walk or ride their bikes to get to the playground, the beach or the swimming pool. In July and August, the campsite's mini-club welcomes children aged 6 to 10 for various activities.
