In the Cantal region, in the stunning Gorges de la Truyère nature reserve, lies the Flower Campings Le Belvédère campsite, which offers a relaxing and exciting holiday destination. It is particularly suitable for families seeking peace and quiet and who …love nature. But the campsite also has plenty of entertainment for young and old. During the summer months, themed evenings, sports competitions and shows are held here, and there are opportunities for painting, playing and doing handicrafts. On the way to the campsite, you will pass through a mountainous landscape of valleys, forests and rivers. At the campsite reception, you will receive a warm welcome. The location of the site on the southern slope of a hill is impressive, with an unforgettable view of Lake Lanau. There are separate parking spaces for large motorhomes and caravans, which are a little lower. The well-kept grounds have neatly demarcated pitches with plenty of shade and magnificent views of the surrounding nature. The two toilet blocks, although not particularly modern, are clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a little more luxury, you can choose from a range of beautiful mobile homes, chalets or sturdy glamping tents, all equipped with all modern conveniences. At the Belvédère campsite in Cantal, the bar is open every day from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm during the high season . Breakfast is served between 7:30 am and 10:00 am in the dining room or on the terrace and must be reserved the day before either at the reception, in the bakery or in the restaurant. You will find fresh bread, pastries, cereals, orange juice, hot drinks, butter, jam, compotes, yoghurt and cheese for a full breakfast and fresh bread, hot drinks, butter and jam for a quick breakfast. The campsite swimming pool is perfect for a refreshing dip, a splash around or just lounging at any time of day. The water in the outdoor pool is heated to a pleasant 26-28 degrees Celsius, and the pool can be covered when the weather is less clement. There is a small, shallow pool for toddlers. Adjacent to the pool are sun loungers for occasional relaxation, as well as a sauna and a fitness room.
