"Beautifully situated above the Loire - We felt alone in the off-season. Absolutely quiet, very nice pitches, difficult to manage in the off-season! So stock up on provisions. Provisioning is difficult but the view of the Loire is brilliant 😀

"Beautiful views of the River Loire,a calm and peacefu sitel - Great swimming pool ,good facilities , generous sized pitches, beautiful views from the site. Not the cheapest site but the views are worth it.

" - A site situated on a loop of the river. Very friendly site owners, a little difficult to communicate if you don't speak French, but you can manage with your hands and feet. Bread rolls to order. Swimming pool on the site. Pitches allocated. As we were there at the beginning of April, the restaurant on site was not yet open. We were just passing through and therefore only spent one night here, but we will definitely be back again.

" - Very quiet and beautifully situated campsite. Friendly operator couple. Breakfast service and restaurant and pool on site. Great starting point for trips to the Massif Central - the summit can be reached if you don't dawdle like we did - great routes for motorbikes and impressive scenery. We stayed there for two days and felt very comfortable.

Our small campsite of 63 locations, ideally situated on it almost Island of Mars at the heart of the biggest meander of the Loire, is the ideal mark for the nature lovers, in search of peace and tranquillity while allying …comfort and user-friendliness. The situation of the campsite offers a fantastic view over the lake of Villerest. We have mobile home and chalet big comfort which can welcome, 2 to 8 people, completely equipped, with toilet and heating. On the spot various services are at your disposal: grocer's shop, inn : pizzas, grills, salads, ice cream... palyground for children and warmed swimming pool open from June 1st till September 15th. Guarding 24h / 24h

En venant du Nord : par RN7 : Prendre Roanne puis Le Coteau, Commelle vernay A l'entrée de Commelle Vernay prendre la RD56, la suivre sur un 10aine de Km puis suivre la direction Château de la Roche. Le camping …se situe 4 km avant le château de la Roche. En venant par l'autoroute A89 Lyon Sud St Etienne direction Clermont Ferrand, ou A78 Lyon Nord- Cletrmont Ferrand, prendre la sortie "Roanne Balbigny. Après le péage, l'autoroute se poursuit sur env.3km avant d'arriver à un grand rond-point. Au rond point suivre Balbigny, puis tout de suite à droite direction Château de la Roche - Lac de Villerest. Nous sommes situés 4 km après le château.
