"A small campground in a very quiet, natural setting - My wife, who is 62, and I, who am 65, felt very comfortable at the mini-campground. We wanted to pick up a few things for our trailer at Obelink and spend a nice weekend there. We arrived on Friday and were greeted very warmly by the campground operator, who personally escorted us to our spacious campsite. He also showed us a covered storage area for our bicycles. The restrooms were clean and tidy at all times. Everything worked properly. From the campground, you can immediately take a walk with your dog along a nice dirt path. The campground was fully booked that weekend. Since all the campers were over 50, our stay was quiet and pleasant. Since it was 36 degrees on Friday, we just shopped at Obelink and spent the rest of the day relaxing at the campground. On Saturday morning, we cycled to Winterswijk to visit the market. Winterswijk is a worthwhile destination. We returned to the campsite at noon, stowed away our groceries, and then went out into nature on our bikes again. In the evening, we wound down the day in front of the WW with great weather. On Sunday morning, we headed back home. My wife and I both agree that we’ll definitely visit this mini-campground again—and stay a little longer next time. It’s a really great spot for couples traveling with a dog. I wouldn’t recommend it for young families with children, though. I can’t say anything about food. I don’t think they sell bread rolls at the campground. We didn’t ask, though, and we didn’t see anyone with a bag of bread rolls either.

"Recommended mini campsite - We received a very friendly welcome on arrival and were directed straight to the pitch we had booked from home. We were also able to switch to another, sunnier pitch at short notice. The sanitary facilities were in perfect condition. However, there is no separation between the men's and women's areas. Everything is in one room. Even the washing facilities. But this is also common at other mini campsites. It certainly didn't bother us. The site was about 50% full at Easter. The number of 3 toilets and 3 showers might be tight when fully occupied. In any case, we can recommend this mini campsite without reservation.

"Quiet and surrounded by nature - I came across this mini campsite by chance while looking for a small site near Winterswijk (Obelink) and Bocholt. What luck! There are 20 pitches with electricity (some require a long power cable) on a meadow. Despite heavy rain (the whole of Germany was flooded that day), we were able to drive onto the meadow. The operator also brought caravans to the site by trekker. Very quiet and in the middle of nature. We will definitely be back to explore the area by bike in better weather. We paid €25 per night for 2 people including electricity and caravan.

"Rural idyll - 1 overnight stay for the purpose of visiting Obelink. Based on the previous reviews, we drove to this site and were not disappointed. The site is in the middle of nature, absolutely quiet and only 10 minutes from Obelink. The sanitary facilities are new, modern, clean and for both sexes in one room. This didn't bother us either. Not only us, but also our dachshund felt very comfortable. There is (fortunately) no action or entertainment. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Friendly operator. Highly recommended.

"Beautiful campsite just before Winterswijk - A very spacious and quiet campsite. Sanitary facilities were sufficient and always very clean. Children had plenty of space to play. The owner is very friendly and always approachable. Will definitely be back

"Quiet campsite in a great location - The campsite has a super good price-performance ratio. It was clean and quiet. The sanitary facilities are shared for men and women. They were always clean, although there was a bit of a wait at peak times. Super good location for e.g. Obelink or a stroll in Winterswijk. We were surprised about the city center. Friday most stores are open until 9pm and there are many cafes/restaurants.
