"Nice stay - Very nice place for families. Many well-kept playgrounds, nice animation. The beach is okay but small.

"Too expensive with too many disadvantages - 4 nights for €269 equates to €67 per day, so I expect everything to be tip-top. After prolonged rain, we were told not to leave the grass pitch with the camper van, otherwise it would be damaged. We were given another pitch, where the electricity failed several times (a technician fixed the fault). From the morning, a small golf caddy with loud music drives across the pitch as children's entertainment. Teenagers / young adults do not keep to the night's rest from 22:00, with luck it is quiet from 23:00. The site is very remote, so shopping is only possible by motorized means (outside the site). The beach of the North Sea is not accessible, here better drive to Renesse or similar. Overall, you can not do anything except walking / cycling outside the square. For me too expensive for the money, you can do better elsewhere for less money.

"Super campsite in a great location - Located directly on the Scheldt, separated only by a small road and the dyke. Great cycle path or for walking directly over the dike. Restaurant on the dike with a wonderful view. Large outdoor pool, small indoor pool (more for small children), sauna, lots of children's entertainment. Small snack store, very large store with everything your heart desires, beautiful paths for walking or cycling. Restaurant on site. Friendly, helpful staff.

"Was quite nice - We visit this campsite as a family with two children, 8 and 10 years old. The site itself is very nice and definitely clean. A lot is really done for the children, but the respective languages are not taken into account. Our children hardly understood anything and there was no translation. You can also hire bikes, of course, and they are very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the biggest drawback is the food here on the campsite. The menus we were given in the restaurant were exclusively in Dutch, even though we had ordered in German. We also had hair in our food on three consecutive days, both in the restaurant and in the snack bar. After we complained, the waitress could no longer understand us. Strange. You can eat very well in the Strand Brasserie. It really tastes very good there. Unfortunately, the beach did not deliver what was promised. It is not possible to walk for miles along the water. Only on the dyke but not directly on the sand by the water. That will be one reason why we won't go here again. For the washing machine you have to pay 5 euros per wash and also for a drying cycle. I find that very outrageous.

"Good campsite in a very secluded location - German is more of a foreign language here, English is much better. That's why the staff are not very friendly and only do what is necessary, unlike with our 3-year-old son. He is very much appreciated and pampered! There are lots of playgrounds all over the campsite, a rather small indoor playground, a children's pool in the swimming pool and 2 children's pools in the indoor pool which are more like a half-full bathtub. The indoor pool is rather small and not very inviting. Unfortunately, the water in the children's pool is not heated, so no child wants to stay in it for long. The XL pitches are large and equipped with water, electricity, waste water and TV connections. The pitches are well-kept and clean. The sanitary facilities are mostly clean, but there are not enough of them at peak times. The four dog owners on this site are noticeable. The beach is not exactly beautiful, more reminiscent of mud flats than the sea. The food in the snack bar is typically Dutch, but frikandell and chips are good. The pizzas are not Italian, but the prices are. They taste so-so but cost 9€-11,50€. The food is otherwise good but relatively expensive for the small portions. All in all, it was a nice vacation here despite the strong wind and bad weather, but it's not the campsite's fault. Nevertheless, we won't come here again as it's simply too remote, the nearest larger town is 35km away.

"Great, quiet family campsite - We stayed at this campsite for 1 week. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you, despite the many children. The staff are very friendly and the entertainment is great. It can get boring for kids over 11. Everything is very clean! We felt very, very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious and plentiful.

Comfortcamping Scheldeoord is een leuke familiecamping met o.a. een binnen- en buitenbad, veel vermaak voor de kinderen en het leuke Scheldestrandje direct ernaast. Alles is hier aanwezig om te genieten van een heerlijke vakantie: van speeltuin en animatieteam tot supermarkt …en een compleet horecagedeelte met café/restaurant en snackbar! ! De ligging van de camping is rustig en uniek, namelijk pal aan de zeedijk van de Westerschelde. Toch is hier van alles te beleven. Zo kun je er bijvoorbeeld aan het strandje lekker spelen, vissen, wandelen en fietsen langs het water, kitesurfen, zeehonden spotten en zelfs wadlopen! Ook kun je hier heerlijk eten en drinken bij Strandbrasserie de Landing! Een dagje erop uit? Dan is er volop keuze! Ook kun je hier prachtig wandelen en fietsen in de rustige omgeving vol polders en tientallen dijken.
