Description

Profile
Camping MITIKAS has been named after the highest peak of Mount Olympus, which is also the highest pick in Greece, 2917m. Established in 1976, camping Mitikas has a tradition of over twenty five years in providing the best of Greek … hospitality. We pay a lot of attention in keeping the site clean and tidy and ensure that our guests can relax under the trees and have a great time. The camping has more than 200 trees, that create a natural protection from the sun and a perfect environment for the family to relax. The camping is well lighted during the night and we have a security fence for extra protection. The water is drinkable coming directly from the Olympus springs. There are toilets and showers with hot water in both sides of the camping and for the visitor’s convenience we have dedicated rooms for dish washing and cloths washing and ironing. There are two main building blocks which feature facilities such as showers, toilets and hot water. Our guest can find dedicated areas for washing dishes and clothes as well as for ironing. Camping Mitikas has twenty well-equipped bungalows to let, located either on the ground or the first floor. All of them have their own kitchen, TV set, refrigerator and en-suite shower. Half of the rooms overlook to mount Olympus and the rest face east towards the sea. All of them have their own balcony and a set of table and chairs for our guests to relax and enjoy the view. Our guests can rent the rooms for the night or on a bed and breakfast basis. If they wish they can cook their meals or enjoy some delicious Greek meals in our restaurant. On site there is also a tradition Greek restaurant and a well-equipped supermarket.
