Der Campingplatz Petronell-Carnuntum ist ein sehr kleiner Campingplatz im Weinort Petronell-Carnuntum. Die Ortschaft ist vor allem durch seine römische Geschichte bekannt ist. So gilt das berühmte Heidentor als das bedeutendste antike Monument auf Österreichischem Boden. Der Campingplatz liegt angeschlossen an … eine Tennishalle mit Gasthaus. Für die Campinggäste stehen die Sanitäranlagen der Tennishalle zur Verfügung (Gemeinschaftsdusche Herren und Damen getrennt) Weitere Gasthäuser sind im 700m entfernten Ortskern zu finden. Einkaufsmöglichkeit gibts im Ort von 7-12 Uhr, ansonsten 3km enfernt in der Nachbarortschaft. Tankstelle und Werkstätte gibts im Ort. Sehenswertes in der Umgebung: Römerpark Carnuntum,der Nationalpark Donauauen, Naturschutzgebiet Hundsheimer Berge (besonders im Frühsommer und Herbst sehenswert), Marchfeldschlösser (insbesondere Schloss Hof) Weitere Infos auf unserer Homepage: www.tennishalle-petronell.at/camping
