"Dog on a "pet-free campsite" is not an option - The statement "pet-free campsite" on the website was the decisive booking criterion for me. On site, however, this did not correspond to my actual experience. I was shocked when a Bernese mountain dog suddenly ran past our pitch unaccompanied and chased after a car across the campsite. When I approached the operator about this, I didn't get the impression that this was seen as a problem. Although I was assured that the operator's family's dog would be taken off the pitch "now", the next morning it was once again running around the entrance area unleashed. This left me with the feeling that I could be confronted with the dog again at any time during my entire stay. I was also not convinced by the wash house. The day visitor and camping areas are not separated from each other. That's why you only get one key per pitch for the wash house. This sounds sensible at first, but proved to be extremely impractical in everyday life. You constantly have to coordinate procedures. It becomes particularly problematic when one person leaves the site with the key (the gate also only works with a key) while the other wants to enter the wash house. A second key was refused on request. The showers do not have a hand shower, only a hard jet of water from above. This inevitably gets your hair wet. The "sinks" are simple washbasins with sensors that are constantly triggered unintentionally. The children's washing area is located in the draughty main passageway directly opposite the rinsing area. In addition, there is no hot water at the normal washbasins and no cubicles for privacy. On a positive note, I would like to highlight the friendly staff, the clean wash house and the beautiful location by the lake. For me, however, these plus points could not outweigh the problems with the dog running loose and the repeated unfriendly contact with the owner family.

"Small cozy CP on the lake. - The campsite is clearly laid out and clean. The pitches are sufficient. Toilets are always clean. The staff are always nice and friendly.

"Small and very idyllic campsite - Idyllic campsite, located directly on the lake. The water in the lake is very clear and clean and is ideal for swimming, weather permitting. As the campsite is quite compact with 13 temporary pitches and an estimated 50 permanent pitches, the walking distances are very short. The kiosk with bread roll service, snacks and ice cream as well as a terrace with a view of the lake invites you to linger. Water and electricity are available directly on site. The night's rest was always respected. Munich can be explored with the S-Bahn station approx. 4km away. For trips lasting several days, the Isar Card is worthwhile, allowing you to use the entire local transport network. A small playground with a sandpit and large meadow areas right by the lake can be used by children of all ages to play football, badminton or volleyball. The prices in the kiosk are very reasonable. Everything in the sanitary building was clean and tidy. No luxury facilities, but perfectly adequate for us. Access is by key for campers. The ladies from the cleaning service are on site every morning. Since the site is also open for bathers who want to cool off in the lake, there could be an increased number of visitors during the day in summer. This was not the case at our time. There are separate sanitary facilities for bathers. Dogs are not allowed on the site.

"Vacation Camping Wörthsee - A wonderful small quiet campsite directly on the Wörthsee. Very friendly and helpful family who run it. Everything is always spotlessly clean. Shower without brand. Chip for the sanitary area. This is great so that bathers can't use the toilets and everything is always clean and tidy. Bathers have their own WC and showers. Super beautiful sunsets. A different play of colors every evening. We love coming here every year.
