"Favorite place - This idyllic piece of earth is becoming one of our favorite places. One of the most beautiful (and smallest) places 🤗 that is accessible to us for a short trip. The warm welcome and briefing from our host Belinda and sons was fantastic. With the view of the lake or the mountains (depending on how you sit) a phenomenal view. A good base for hiking or biking. The pitches are reasonable for the size of the well-kept area. There is a recreation room and an extra drying room with a drinks machine. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and modern. The bread roll service at this (high) altitude is not a matter of course and works wonderfully. Orders must be collected at 8:00 a.m. in cloth bags in the lounge. If you want to eat out, you can stop off at the Alpengasthof Zeinisjoch. The price-performance ratio is good and reasonable. Our second stay will definitely not be the last... WE WILL COME WIEDER‼️ Best regards Eva and Tom

"Hermann R. Altheim. The most beautiful campsite in Austria. - We spent 5 nights at Zeinissee with our motorhome and were totally thrilled. Fantastic location, great hiking opportunities and perfect bus connections in all directions and that also free of charge. We had super beautiful sunrises as well as sunsets sunsets and in between wonderful hikes and excursions in between. We received a very warm welcome from the Lorenz family on arrival and were immediately and were immediately allocated a lovely pitch. immediately. The bread roll service works perfectly and you can eat very well in the restaurant next door. This campsite is the perfect place to combine peace, relaxation and nature can be perfectly combined. The site is lovingly and very well maintained. Risk of repetition 100%

"beautiful place directly on the mountain lake - We were able to spend a week right by the lake in an incredible mountain panorama. It was very quiet. If you like, you can also go fishing or SUP across the lake. There are lots of leisure activities in the region apart from hiking. The owners are friendly and helpful.

"Vacation in alpine nature - A cozy, family-run campsite in a fantastic natural landscape. Wonderful mountain bike and hiking routes with easy to difficult levels of difficulty all around. Other tours can also be reached directly from the campsite with regular bus connections during the day. Restaurant in the neighboring house is highly recommended. Sanitary facilities are modern, clean and available in sufficient numbers. Bread roll service! Many thanks to the Lorenz family, we will definitely be back.

Profile

Austria’s highest summer campsite at an elevation of 1,820 meters, surrounded by the magnificent "Blue Silvretta and Verwall mountain groups." Our small but charming and well-equipped site is located directly by Lake Zeinissee – about 5 km above Galtür, right …on the border of Tyrol and Vorarlberg. We offer both a bread roll delivery service and a breakfast buffet. The campsite owner is a mountain guide. A traditional alpine guesthouse is located nearby, and the bus stop is just 50 meters away. Facilities include private wash cabins, a clothes dryer, a drying room for shoes and clothing with a boot dryer, a common room, fresh spring water, private fishing waters, and mountain adventures at the highest level. Hiking, mountain biking, climbing, and bouldering… all while enjoying the crystal-clear mountain air.
