The new small, mordern campingsite Waldenstein is in an unique place near the graduation house and the Waldenstein Centre for Sports and Arts. The silent place will enthuse all of you, who want to enjoy nature, silence and the hidden … jewels of the Waldviertel. The silent place will attract all of you, who will get out and enjoy nature. On the campingsite you can start your hike or bike trail through the amazing landscape of the Waldviertel. From Waldenstein you can easily reach several places of interest. Like the nature reserve Blockheide, the Sole-Felsen-Bad (indoor swimming and sauna), the Unterwasserreich in Schrems, the narrow-gauge-railway Waldviertelbahn, the castle and old town in Weitra or one of the interesting handicraft workshops. Come to see Waldenstein and the admirable landscape of the Waldviertel!

Coming from the West or North Via motorway A7/S10 to Freistadt, there you take road B38/B41 to Gmünd, at the first roundabout leave towards Sole-Felsen-Bad, Waldenstein Coming form the South or East Via road B37/B38 to Zwettl, there you take … road B36 until you reach the junction towards Kirchberg/Walde, Gmünd; then you follow the signs towards Weißenalbern, Waldenstein Journey description in Waldenstein At the junction with road L8211 towards Weißenalbern, Klein Ruprechts, follow this road. Then you go ahead for about 400m. After you have passed the town sign Waldenstein, turn to the left. Here is the entry to Camping Waldenstein! If you come from Kirchberg/Walde, Weißenalbern, Klein Ruprechts, you will find the entry for Camping Waldenstein directly after the small bridge (before the town sign). Please turn right and you are here.
