Rest with seniors
We were looking for a place to cache for a long weekend where we had never been before. This campsite doesn't have a rating yet, so we went there. Very refreshing on arrival: despite the proximity to Germany, no German is spoken. Wonderful, everywhere and everyone seems to know your language in this... country. You already feel stupid as a tourist. Here you have to dig out your vocabulary and make an effort. Nice start. On the campsite you notice immediately: 65+ are on vacation here. The site managers help you to park your caravan, everyone is very friendly. No playground for miles around, 65+ doesn't play. The lawn and pitches are immaculately groomed with nail scissors. Sanitary facilities spotlessly clean. 50 cents for a shower? Fits, with a coin. We (51 and 41) were there with our 8-month-old boy. No nasty looks, the other guests were also very nice. You feel absolutely comfortable there....if you (probably) stick to the rules. Reception only a few times a week, only from 9.30am to 12pm. Very relaxed place, really cheap with clean sanitary facilities. And we also did some great cacher tours in the area. Pure relaxation.
