"Gemengde gevoelens - Wij werden in eerste instantie aardig ontvangen door een half Nederlands sprekende man die ons wegwijs maakte. Toen wij later die dag terug gingen naar de receptie om de weg naar het centrum te vragen, sprak mijn vriendin dezelfde Nederlands sprekende man aan die haar (waarschijnlijk) niet hoorde. Daarop zei ze tegen mij ''volgens mij hoort hij mij niet". Daarna aan een Frans sprekende vrouw gevraagd maar door de taalbarrière liep dat niet vlot maar na een korte uitleg toch op pad gegaan. Eenmaal net bij de uitgang komt de mannelijke medewerker achter ons aan en begint ons zonder wederhoor toe te roepen dat hij niet gediend was van ons gedrag omdat wij waren weggelopen. En hij waarschuwde ons! Daar stonden we dan met een dochter die hier door overstuur was en wij er geen woord tussen konden krijgen door het geraas van de man! Verder geen aanmerkingen op de andere medewerkers op of over het verblijf. Wel is alles heel erg op Fransen gericht dus dat was jammer, vooral voor onze dochter.

"Schöner Platz - Ende August noch sehr gut besetzt, es hatte nur noch wenige freie Plätze. Schönes Schwimm- und Hallenbad. Auf dem Platz keine Wasserhahnen und keine Abwasserstellen. WLAN zu teuer und dazu noch schlechte Verbindungsqualität. Recht weit zum Strand.

"...leider sehr laut, und das bis 23:00 täglich - Wir waren mit zwei Kindern(6/9) im Juli hier, die Lage zum Meer und das Schwimmbad sind super. Die Lautstärke der zahlreichen Jugendlichen auf dem Platz täglich bis 23:00 ist nervtötend. Auch der Autoverkehr endet erst um 23:00. Der Platz hat zahlreiche schattige Plätze, einen kleinen Supermarkt mit Apothekenpreisen, aber Lacanau-ocean ist mit dem Rad in 5min erreichber. Netter Ort, von Wellenreiterszene geprägt. Der Strand mit seinen Wellen ist schnell erreichbar. Nette Leute kennengelernt, die Kinder lieben das Schwimmbad mit zahlreichen Rutschen, einem wilden Fluss und dem Wellenbad. Update: Wir waren mittlerweile jedes Jahr hier, der Platz ist zu unserer zweiten Heimat geworden. Die anfänglich störende Lautstärke hat sich auf unseren späteren Plätzen als nicht so gravierend herausgestellt. wir werden auch in den nächsten Jahren das ein oder andere mal hierher kommen.

Our campsite welcomes guests for an unforgettable stay in the shade of the pine trees in Gironde. Our 5 stars campsite is close by the ocean, a 10-minute walk from one of the best sandy beaches on the Atlantic coast …and 15 minutes from the centre of Lacanau Océan. You can also set off from here to enjoy the beaches, leisure activities and a wide range of cycle paths. The Ocean Campsite is a chance to experience a unique holiday in Lacanau Océan. The campsite is open this year from 05 April to 03 November 2024.
