"Relaxing days in a light forest - A very relaxing space, very different from the typical square space camp grounds.You were right in nature. For us it was at first a second best solution, since Laibach was full, but it turned out the best decision ever. Laibach is close enough, and the camp ground is true paradise.

"Completely overpriced - Unfortunately, campers with only one overnight stay are being ripped off. A 50% surcharge for one night and a price of €122.50 for three people are out of all proportion. We will certainly remember this site so that we don't come here again. I just wonder whether the management is aware that the growth in recent years has also been due to the transit campers. Strange way to retain customers:-( For a 5-star site, poor sanitary facilities in the lower part (Dixie-scharm), sanitary building 3 outdated and unclean

Camping Šobec offers all camping enthusiasts suitable accommodation. You can expect a well-kept campsite where you can comfortably set up and create your own intimate space. Do you have your caravan or motorhome with you? We have plenty of parking …spaces where you can park and set up your temporary home in nature. All pitches are equipped accordingly so that you can feel at home with us. We have 10 different camping zones, which differ in location, size and availability of connections. Perfectly clean sanitary facilities are the hallmark of every residential or holiday resort. For us, hygiene is a matter of course and has the highest priority to ensure the comfort of our guests. There are 5 sanitary facilities on the campsite, where toilets, showers, baby changing rooms, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and freezers are available. The restaurant can seat up to 250 guests, which is why we also organise conferences, team-building events and weddings here. You will find typical homemade dishes from Gorenjska, prepared with ingredients from the surrounding farms. At the beach bar Ethno Alp. on the lake at the campsite, you can get ice-cold refreshments for swimming. The bar is usually open from 15 June to 31 August during the bathing season and offers snacks, burgers, pancakes, coffee, various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and Our shop is known for its wide range of freshly baked bread and pastries, as well as dairy products, fruit, vegetables and a large selection of soft drinks and Slovenian wines. You can also find international newspapers and magazines in the shop, as well as camping and leisure equipment. From April to October, sports fans have access to various sports fields. So don't forget to bring your sports equipment such as rackets, balls and sports shoes when you visit the campsite. The nearby bar, where you can get many alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, is there to quench your thirst after your workout.

Directions

By motorway If you driving on the A2/E61 motorway, either from direction of Austria (Villach – Karawanke tunnel) or slovenian capitol city Ljubljana: use the motorway exit No. 3 – Lesce (also signed Bled, Bohinj, Pokljuka). Drive straight through the …roundabout (direction Bled, Bohinj, Pokljuka) towards the traffic lights. Continue driving straight ahead on road 209 (direction Bled), pass the horse racing track and take the first major turn left (large Camping Šobec sign on the left side of the road). By local roads If you are driving from the direction of Austria and would like to avoid paying for Slowenian motorway vignette – take the first exit after the Karawanke tunnel (Jesenice Zahod). In first junction (near village Hrušica) turn right (direction Jesenice) and drive on road 637 towards the town of Jesenice. Reaching the town, always drive straight ahead on the principal road avoiding any turns. Leaving the urbanized area of Jesenice at Koroška Bela, continue straight ahead on the same road towards Potoki, Moste and Vrba. After the Petrol station on your right – hand side you will reach a large roundabout. Take first exit right (direction Bled, Bohinj, Pokljuka) towards the traffic lights. Continue driving straight ahead on road 209 (direction Bled), pass the horse racing track and take the first major turn left (large Camping Šobec sign on the left side of the road). By train Stepping out of Lesce-Bled train station in Lesce, look for a taxi or give us a call. If we will have the time – we will be happy to give you a free lift to Camping Šobec. If you choose to walk to us (it takes about 15 minutes), turn left and head towards the railway crossing. Walk across the railway tracks towards the Tuš Supermarket. Passing the shop, take the first street left (Finžgarjeva ulica). Soon after Moskva Restaurant turn left in the junction (bowling alley on your right hand side) and walk past the car dealer shop to a small roundabout. Turn right and take a gravel road descending down towards a group of newly built houses. Stay on the track that leads you down hill and into the forest. Quite soon you shall see the clear waters of Šobec lake in front of you.
