"Simple but beautiful CP with swimming lake - Beautifully divided site (shady and sunny pitches) with bathing lake, which is freely available to guests. Saturday and Sunday were very busy. Very quiet from Monday onwards. Lots of nature and the lake is ok. There is a small slide for children. Sand court for volleyball etc. too. Electricity available, but a long cable is needed depending on the pitch. Dogs are allowed but unfortunately not at the lake and on the pitch only on a leash. The owners are nice and friendly. On the whole it was nice and relaxing. Price for 2 adults, 1 child and 1 dog incl. pitch with electricity and 9 shower tokens for 4 nights around 140.00 EUR Somewhat negative: Shower and toilet are very outdated and the shower head does not deserve its name... There was only minimal water. The dogs must be kept on a leash at the place is of course ok. But the ban on the lake is not really understandable. It is a natural lake and not a swimming pool... Shopping possibility only in approx. 15km (Rhinau/SuperU).

"Camping for nature lovers - You can expect a campsite with many hiking possibilities or simply go for a walk, and due to the proximity to the Rhine floodplains there is a lot of nature to see. The water quality of the bathing lake is unique, but unfortunately bathing is forbidden for dogs.

Der Campingplatz „Schoeneau Plage“ ist gut ausgeschildert und befindet sich nahe der Grenze zwischen Frankreich und dem Schwarzwald in Deutschland. Der Rhein ist einer der bedeutensten Flüsse und bekannt für seine Strände und den Schiffsverkehr. Der Campingplatz liegt direkt an …einem seiner Nebenflüsse, dem Canal Vauban. Die Caravan- und Wohnwagenstellplätze befinden sich am Ufer des ruhigen Gewässers und sind mit Strom- und Wasseranschlüssen ausgestattet. Vereinzelt findet man Bootsstege vor. Hier haben sich viele Dauercamper einen Urlaubsort geschaffen. Ruhig und am Waldschutzgebiet gelegen, kann man hier einen angenehmen Zwischenstop einlegen und entspannte Urlaubstage, abseits von Städten und Dörfer verbringen. Zur Ausstattung gehören Duschen, WCs und Waschmaschine sowie eine Entsorgungsstation für Abwasser. Der kleine Shop mit Stühlen und Tischen unter Sonnenschirmen ist zum Verweilen gedacht.
