"Enjoy the peace and quiet with a view of the Zugspitze - A very nice and clean campsite. Pitches with private bathroom👍👍 The service super nice and always helpful. Tumble dryer, hotplate and kettle are available for a rental fee. Washing machine and dryer are available. Bread roll service very good and tasty. A barbecue evening is offered directly at the reception on Mondays and Tuesdays. Otherwise there is a restaurant below the campsite. Great shopping facilities. Aldi and Edeka can be reached from the campsite in two minutes via a flight of stairs. Tickets for the bus ride are included. Thank you for the lovely stay. We would love to come back.

"Is far from 5 stars - The surface of the pitches is covered with sharp gravel, despite the mat it is unpleasant. Far too few showers for the size of the pitch. W-LAN miserable. Overall a very impersonal and unloving place. Far too expensive for that.

"Good location with the charm of a gravel pit - The ambience of the site resembles a quarry. The ground with sharp gravel stones does not create a camping atmosphere. The bathrooms are cleaned by young lads, but you can't call that cleaning. The private bathroom was only cleaned with a cloth and squeegee, without any cleaning agent, within 60 seconds....... Bread roll service very good but otherwise you can't buy anything on the pitch. Payment not possible the evening before due to electricity bill (0,90€/kWh) and in the morning the reception is officially only open from 8.00 am. After making an agreement with reception that someone will be on site to check you out from 7.20am, the person then tells you what you already want.... can only be done if you don't rely on regular customers. The unjustified prices can be enforced due to the location and lack of alternatives.

"our impression - - Overall impression and hygienic condition of the sanitary facilities (see photos) not acceptable - Plots large, but only very coarse gravel - Chemical toilet disposal at V/E column also from other campers on the plot within sight is not very appetizing - Overall price-performance ratio not given - by no means 5 stars - favorable (because of location and tranquility) 3 stars

"5 stars premium NEVER - You can't rest on your laurels, even if you have a supposedly good reputation. This can quickly change and the statement from the staff (in response to the sanitary facilities): we are women - we don't come to the men's toilets - is questionable and should really be reconsidered. High price and little service just doesn't fit

Pure luxury in the heart of nature – that's what the Camping Resort Zugspitze in the Alpine village of Grainau near Garmisch-Partenkirchen offers. It is a high-quality holiday resort with spacious panoramic pitches, mountain huts with outdoor seating and, as …a special overnight accommodation option, four sleeping barrels. Guests enjoy camping at its finest. As a special feature, private bathrooms are available on request directly at the pitch, as are fixed gas connections. The pitches, which can be as large as 150 square metres, are easily accessible, even for large vehicles. A modern keyless card system, Wi-Fi and state-of-the-art sanitary facilities complete the camping comfort. The icing on the cake is the cosy and tastefully designed sauna and fitness area with a panoramic view. Supermarket, bus stops, workshops, petrol stations and restaurants are just a few metres away. Many of the facilities are also designed for people with disabilities. The luxurious complex offers refreshments in the ‘Alpspitzblick’ bistro or in the ‘Schmölzer Wirt’, a rustic Bavarian restaurant serving regional delicacies and fine wines. World-famous attractions such as Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Eibsee lake, the Höllental and Partnachklamm gorges, and magnificent castles are in the immediate vicinity. Active holidaymakers can go hiking, walking, canoeing, cycling, mountain biking, golfing, surfing, paragliding and, in winter, skiing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, ice climbing, winter hiking and much more.
