"Good starting point for Preikestolen - Many people come and go on the site, which is certainly just a stopover on the way to Preikestolen. Sanitary facilities could be improved, modern is not everything, the distribution on the spacious site must also be taken into account.

"A desert of mud when it rains - We visited the site for 3 nights on this trip. For this price we found it the worst of all the places we used. The site is really only usable to use the Preikestolen and then drive back. The campsite is quite restless, from 3 a.m. the van doors open and close and there is a lot of hustle and bustle from cars setting off for Preikestolen. During the day, the site is correspondingly quiet. You could say that the WLAN doesn't really work. There was a power and water cut 3 times in one evening. There was probably an emergency generator running. The place was full, every green strip was used for camping and parking.

"Very nicely laid out campsite - The campsite is exceptionally well laid out and almost resembles a park. The facilities are very good. The sanitary facilities are modern and always clean. The reception is professional, friendly and uncomplicated. Guests are free to choose their own pitch. There are well-gravelled pitches for camper vans or meadow pitches in small niches or by a small pond. Everything is very tasteful, right up to the reception building. There is a small restaurant there. The coffee and cakes are very tasty. Due to its proximity to Preikestolen, it is of course more of a transit campsite, which detracts somewhat from the very good overall impression. The site is also very suitable for a visit to Starvanger, 30 minutes away by car.

"Ideal for hiking - Quite a large campsite with everything you need, good and clean sanitary facilities, which are included in the price. Perfect location for Preikestolen. Good wifi

"Good for visiting the Preikestolen - Good opportunity to hike the Preikestolen during a stopover. Showers and toilets are fine. You should arrive early to get a reasonable place.

Preikestolen Camping is located in south-west Norway, 4 kilometres from the hiking trail to Preikestolen, Norway's biggest tourist attraction. There are two service buildings at our campsite. The main building consists of a reception, restaurant and souvenir shop. The sanitary …building has separate showers and toilets for men and women, a laundry room with washing machines and dryers, a crockery room and a chemical toilet. Good to know: There is no separate kitchen for preparing your meals. Instead, you will find open barbecue areas on our campsite.
