"Conveniently located, beautiful with trees - The campsite is close to the city center. It takes about 20 minutes by bike, almost exclusively on beautiful cycle paths along streams and rivers. The sanitary facilities are clean. The pitches are small. The site has existed for decades. In the past, people had smaller caravans, campers or traveled with a tent. Nowadays it all seems very tight. The pitches are all fenced in with hedges and lots of trees provide shade and create a nice overall picture. It was noisy all around (railroad, building site, industry).

"Perfect start for sightseeing tours - Central, quiet, well-kept place; very nice owners with great, uncomplicated organization (booking, information material Salzburg). We felt very comfortable, also suitable for a short vacation with children.

"Nice little place close to the center - Nicely managed campsite close to the center of Salzburg. No incline by bike along the Salzach to the old town. The pitches are not suitable for large caravans and motorhomes.

"Sufficient for a weekend in Salzburg - The campsite is about 20 minutes by bike from the center of Salzburg. This makes it a good starting point for bike tours. There is also a bus stop near the campsite. The campsite itself is a family-run campsite that is already a few years old. Unfortunately, this is noticeable in various areas, especially the sanitary facilities are rather outdated and the number of men's toilets is rather low. In addition to a low ceiling height and a relatively narrow space with poor ventilation, it seems to be rather difficult to bring about major improvements to the existing facilities due to the structural conditions. Staff were also told about running water in the showers and faulty fittings with a shrug of the shoulders, "that would have been known for a long time". The pitch itself is also rather narrow, very large caravans reach their limits here when negotiating bends. As the pitches are not always very large either, campers sometimes have to park their cars on the edge of the pitch or beyond, which in turn makes it difficult to drive through. Reception with attached mini mini kiosk (fresh bread rolls) and small café. Conclusion: ok for 2 nights and a visit to Salzburg, but too expensive in relation to the overall service.

"Perfect for visiting Salzburg - A nice place to visit Salzburg. Quite shady, which is only pleasant at 30°. Sanitary okay, pitches not very big.
