Advantages
Surroundings, pine forests, beach, dunes
Negatives
Noise from the padel court chaotic and narrow pitch layout expensive
Beautiful landscape, choatic campsite
For a few months now, 3 padel courts have been in operation in the middle of the square. (Padel is played in a similar way to tennis, but due to the massive rackets, much more force is exerted and correspondingly more noise is caused)
During our stay, this went on continuously from 9 am to 9 pm. From... time to time, a ball even flew out of the glass box and hit the camping vehicles. It's difficult to find peace and quiet.

No reservations are accepted. Motorhomes and caravans are sent to the site even when it is already full. The site is correspondingly chaotic. The electricity taps are not sufficient, if you are lucky you can get electricity from your neighbor.

At 42 euros for an overnight stay, there should at least be closed showers.

Recommendation: Avoid this site, but it is the only one on the Curonian Spit. A day trip without a motorhome by ferry from Ventainė, Minija or Uostadvaris to Nida would be better. This also saves you the additional 30 euro toll for the Curonian Spit.

Nothing
The only place on the spit
The only place on the spit. We are traveling with a car + caravan family with 2 children.
Ferry (there and back) 46€, 30€ for the national park + 60€ for the campsite
The site is clean. Sufficient showers and toilets available.
Pitches are numbered and small.
I can highly recommend the pizzeria on the site. Good food - good price
Parnidis dune right next to the campsite, Nida and the Baltic Sea within walking distance.

Advantages
Is the only CP nine times. The Baltic Sea and the dune are within walking distance.
Negatives
Very uneven surface, very interlocking plots.
The only one with an interesting parking space system
Visited with Trailertent as a couple !

Ferry from the mainland cost €36.60 with the trailer. Plus 30€ tourist tax for the drive onto the spit. Return journey on the ferry to Kleipeda free.

The campsite: beautifully situated with a sparse pine forest. The pitches are marked with yellow stones and not... exactly laid out systematically.
The ground is very uneven. We were almost the only ones there in the low season. Extra space for camper vans, which are likely to fill up quickly in summer.
As there is currently space...... you have to put up with it.
The Baltic Sea beach and the large dune are within walking distance.
Cycle paths look good.

It takes some getting used to, no shower curtains.

Advantages
Light pine forest, loosely laid out natural pitch, sound of the sea, top location - beach, dune, village
Negatives
Opinions differ here - when the place gets full (it's the only one) - it probably becomes a nightmare - whereby there is a high fluctuation As we have experienced it, it is a dream place (20% occupancy)
Camping Nida Corona Summer 2020

The stay was good
Our stay was okay. We were with the tent. We didn't like the places for the tents. On the other hand, places for campers or cars seemed more cozy. All the sanitary facilities were quite clean but I didn't like the showers. There there no curtains so it was uncomfortable and unpleasant.

Advantages
Clean and sufficient sanitary facilities
Negatives
Dense and crowded. Resembles a parking lot. Expensive
Like sardines in a sardine tin
We were there with a tent in July. The campsite was completely overcrowded. You didn't have a meter to yourself outside the tent area because everyone was crowded together. The camper pitches were also completely full and it was actually impossible to set up a table and chairs. The fact that the campsite... was by far the most expensive we visited in Lithuania shows that the owner just wants to make money. If you are looking for peace and quiet on vacation on the Curonian Spit, this is not the place for you.

Advantages
Peace, Location
Negatives
Relatively expensive, sanitary facilities are in need of improvement
The only campsite on the Curonian Spit
The site is called "Nidos kampingas" and offers plenty of space for motorhomes and other campers. The reception is friendly and helpful. However, at €26, it is the most expensive campsite in Lithuania so far. The sanitary facilities are clean and sufficient, but the showers have no curtains. You can... choose your own pitch. It's about 1.5 km to the town and about 1 km to the Baltic Sea beach. WiFi is free, but only available near the reception. There is also a restaurant on the site.

Price-performance ratio
Highly overpriced monopolist
We knew Camping Nida from a previous stay as a campsite worth recommending. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. The reception was friendly and helpful and in the restaurant on site you can get food and drinks at average prices until 22:00. The campsite is very well located for excursions and hikes... on the Curonian Spit. However, you can probably expect a little more for the price charged. At 29 euros per night, the campsite was by far the most expensive on our Baltic tour this year. Sanitary facilities: There are plenty of toilets and showers. However, the showers have no curtains and there are only a few clothes hooks at the front of the shower room for hanging up towels and clothes. Of the 5 toilets available, only one was fully usable during our stay; the glasses and paper were missing from one toilet and the paper was missing from the others. Pitch: All caravan pitches were occupied by motorhomes (supposedly reserved). This meant that campers with caravans were forced to maneuver their trailers into the very narrow motorhome pitches by hand. Another parking space was inevitably needed for the car. This does not exactly speak for professionalism in the allocation of pitches. Fortunately, the pitch was not full. The service in the restaurant seemed overwhelmed and unfriendly. WIFI: A weak signal could only be received in the immediate vicinity of reception. Conclusion: We know that there is no alternative for campers on the Curonian Spit. Accordingly, they are probably of the opinion that you can demand any price without giving anything in return. In any case, the site will not see us again.

Advantages
Location (right next to the famous sand dunes)
Negatives
Overcrowded (midsummer), expensive, dirty sanitary facilities, if you arrive after 4 pm to register, you're in for a bad time (place full)
The operator is aware of the special situation...
The campsite in Nida is located directly on the Kuhrian Spit. It is also the only campsite. The campers are aware of this, so the site is very expensive compared to other campsites and was overcrowded. You could experience a real "festival feeling" at the campsite. Due to the large number of people, the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was not very good.

Advantages
Great location between the lagoon and the Baltic Sea with connections to the main town on the spit
Satisfied
You can't really blame this campsite for being the only one on the entire Spit and charging corresponding prices due to the lack of competition. I think a slightly below-average rating for value for money is the appropriate consequence. Otherwise, we couldn't complain about the tightly and cleanly run campsite. Nevertheless, a little more friendliness from the receptionist wouldn't go amiss.

We spent two days in September. We had already become accustomed to the fact that the restaurants were closed. It's easy to get to the beach from the campsite and it's also quick to get into town.

Advantages
Shady spots, clean sanitary facilities, close to the beach
Negatives
Tight spaces, always full in the summer months, too expensive
Too narrow and small spaces
The operators of the campsite where we stayed for 2 days in July are well aware of their monopoly position! 30 per night and everything crammed together to the last (cramped pitches) is a rip-off. Campsites for €30 here (which also exist) offer something different......also in Lithuania, mostly for around... €15. It's about time there was competition on the Spit. The "nice welcome" from the lady at reception doesn't exactly motivate us to visit the Spit again, even though it's a beautiful and enchanting part of the Baltic region

We used this expensive campsite to go to Kalinigrad. Both reception and also in the village they give the impression of not knowing. Just every day at 08:10 the bus comes at the gas station behind the campsite and you can join. In the evening back again. Expensive ferry to get there and also expensive admission to the park.

In high season, avoid at a wide distance, unpleasant service, terribly large number of people and prices from the moon. I sincerely advise against planning a stay in July and August.

- Well-kept sanitary facilities. - It can be a bit cramped for large camper vans due to the tree trunk boundaries. - as the only CP on the spit is correspondingly busy.
