"Caping with a view of the Loire - Medium-sized site on Loire Island, parceled out, not too large pitches, some with a view of the river. Large tent meadow for cyclists and canoeists. Free choice of pitches. Very busy in summer. Short walk across the Loire bridge into the town. Good starting point for cycle tours on the Loire cycle path. Clean, modern sanitary facilities, but can be overcrowded when groups of cyclists or paddlers arrive. Friendly, uncomplicated staff.

"close to the town and yet very quiet - The campsite has shady pitches and a meadow for tents. It is fenced off so there is no direct access to the Loire. The sanitary buildings are well maintained and there is even toilet paper, which is not a matter of course in this area. There is also a lounge with a TV. The operators are very friendly, even if their English is poor and they don't speak German. There is a restaurant on the island, and in summer 17 there is a "Kulturbeiz" near the campsite where cheap snacks and drinks are offered. There are also regular free concerts. But if you want to eat well, you should walk over the bridge to the beautiful little town and try one of the restaurants there.

" - Beautifully situated site - on an island (Faubourg) directly on the bridge over the Loire with a view of La Charité - super run by Anita and Eric - good sanitary facilities - basically quiet! The youth groups (depending on the supervisors and accompanying persons) are sometimes a bit annoying
