"Sanitary area borderline - Unfortunately we have to agree with the previous speakers: The sanitary area is very outdated, also very unclean and smells bad. The pitches are also quite cramped. The proximity to the Dômes is a positive aspect.

"Near Puy de Dome - We were there in September 2018 to hike on and around the Puy de Dome. Very friendly welcome, unfortunately this was marred by very poor sanitary facilities. One part was completely closed (explanation: no hot water), the other part was therefore used by both men and women. The condition of the shower heads, taps and toilet flushes was very poor, the water splashed out, but not where it should. The most unpleasant thing was the uncleanliness. We left after 2 nights, although we would have liked to stay longer in the area. The location is ideal due to its proximity to the excursion destinations.

"There is a lot to do - We spent one night here on our return journey. We arrived at lunchtime and there was a sign at reception saying that we could choose a free pitch and then register from 4pm. This worked wonderfully and we received a very friendly welcome from the operators. They also offered a bread roll service for the next day (baguettes, croissants). There is also a lounge and snacks and drinks for sale. There is a covered pool and two boules lanes. There is a restaurant just a few meters from the campsite where we had a delicious meal in the evening! Unfortunately, there were also a few things we didn't like: The fact that the sanitary facilities are very old would not be so bad. Unfortunately, the cleanliness is not very good and leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the wash cubicles are not usable because they are broken. Some of the washbasins were cracked and you can tell from all the pipes that something has needed to be done here for a long time. When we arrived, there was a cleaning bucket in the sanitary area with a dark gray sludge and a feudel that didn't look very appealing. When we left (20 hours later), the bucket and also the feudel were still in place. Too bad, because both the beautiful area and the really nice operators are the "plus" which is greatly diminished by this.

"Great site! - We were here for a quick stop-over on our way from Brittany to the Alps but ended up staying for 4 nights because we liked it so much. Such a friendly welcome and such a pleasant, nice-feel place. Good base for the famous Puy du Dome volcano hike and for Clermont-Ferrand (the Michelin museum there is well worth a visit). The site itself has a pool which was great for the kids, two boules lanes which was nice in the evenings and a nearby river which the dog greatly appreciated. You can order croissants and baguettes at the reception for breakfast next day. What was also nice was the games room with pool table. The pitch itself was large and well-kept. Shower block was old-fashioned and bit run down, but adequate and clean. It's a quiet, friendly and personal site - not an entertainment-packed 5-star one. Although situated next the the main road, we were not disturbed by noise - there was hardly any traffic in the evening anyway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

"Square near the Puy de Dôme - The site is around 10 km from the Puy de Dôme tourist attraction. The reception is very friendly. There are pitches with more or less shade. A covered swimming pool (roof can be opened) offers refreshment for young and old. A kiosk and a bar offer the bare essentials, bread must be ordered.

Unweit der Hauptstraße liegt ebenerdig Anfahrbar und sehr gut ausgeschildert Les Domes. Zur rechten Seite befindet sich die Rezeption mit einem Shop und dem täglichen Baguette Service. Im überdachten Swimmingpool kann man auch an kühleren Tagen baden und vor der …Snackbar sitzen. Die Stellplätze sind auf Gras und festem Boden mit Strom ausgestattet. WI-Fi funktioniert bei der Rezeption. Die Betreiber sprechen gutes Deutsch und Englisch. Ein kleiner Kinderspielplatz hinter den sauberen und gut ausgestattet Sanitäranlagen. Zur Ausstattung gehören Duschen, WCs und ein KInderbadezimmer mit Kindertoiletten als auch Außenwaschbecken. Der Platz ist Familienfreundlich und hat auch ein Spiele Zimmer mit Couch und einem Billiard Tisch.
