Description

Profile
Camping Le Rotja is the campsite for families with children up to 18 years of age in the Pyrénées Oriëntales, with swimming pool, paddling pool, playground, table tennis tables and library. The management also organises a wide range of sporting … activities for the young - young and old. The petit restaurant at Camping Le Rotja offers a wide choice of menus, or you can simply enjoy a nice glass of wine or an ice cream. Camping Le Rotja has 78 camping pitches, divided into 8 small tent pitches and 78 large camping pitches for caravans, folding trailers and larger tents. The pitches are between 80 and 140 square metres. You can choose between campsites in the shade, in the sun or a combination of both; there is something for everyone! The campsites are equipped with electricity. You can park your car on the site. There is a small heated swimming pool to cool off in and a nice round children's pool. There are decorative tiles around the pools. The pools are in full sun. So make sure you put on sunscreen! The view of the surrounding mountain landscape is magnificent. The restaurant offers a small menu with tasty daily menus. There is also a cosy bar, and a cold beer after a walk is not far away. In addition, there is a bread shop. A supermarket is located in Prades. Every Saturday morning there is a market with local products. There is plenty to see and do in the area around camping Le Rotja. There are many historical sights, you can go hiking or cycling in the mountains, or you can go rafting, canyoning or hydro. To sum it up - there is no time for boredom! Camping Le Rotja has a microclimate: this means that the temperatures are pleasantly warm during the day and cool at night. Camping Le Rotja is located far away from the traffic noise, in the typical French village of Fuilla, near the small river La Rotja, at the foot of the impressive mountain Canigou. Close to Camping Le Rotja is the town of Villefranche de Conflent, which has a small and very pretty historic medieval centre.
