Description

Profile
Looking to get away from it all, to relax in a beautiful peaceful and tranquil environment? Then ‘Camping Le Cormier’, on the outskirts of the small village of Obterre, is for you. OPEN ALL YEAR. The campsite has 6 large … (ave 180 sq metres) grassy level pitches / emplacements with plenty of open space for 6 caravans, tents or motor-homes having 8 amp (minimum) electricity points and water taps nearby. Each pitch / emplacement is surrounded by trees & bushes providing shade for those warm sunny days. The camping area is situated in a separate meadow of approx 4 acres bordered by trees within the 10 acre site, set in beautiful rolling countryside in rural France - a natural haven for various species of birds and wildlife, in the Loire Valley on the northern tip of the Brenne Parc Naturel Régional. Having all the ingredients to allow you to ‘switch-off’ relax and unwind in what has been described as a ‘little bit of paradise’, a perfect setting – if you’re looking for bright lights, loud music etc. then it’s certainly not for you. Toilet & shower facilities, plus laundry & tumble drier for a small fee. Fridge and freezer facilities are available without charge. Pets are welcome with a designated Dog walking zone. Caravan Storage is available upon request. Ideally positioned to have a break and stop-over on the way to Southern France, Spain or Portugal – straddled between A10 (direction Bordeaux) to the west & A20 to the east (direction Toulouse). We have a Gite and 3 studios for hire - see our website for further details
