Profile
Camping Le Ch’timi is situated in the beautiful valley of the Lot rivier, just south of the Dordogne. You will find us 40 km west of the famous medieval town of Cahors. Touzac is half way between the small towns … of Fumel and Puy L’ Evêque, and the site is on the southern edge of this small village on the D8. The Lot valley is privileged with an agreeable and sunny climate and is wellknown for its hospitality, wines and gastronomy. A superb and varied landscape and an abundance of artistic riches will offer you numerous possibilities to make excursions to castles, churches, caves, bastions, prehistoric remains / wall drawings and picturesque villages. The combination of quiet roads and lanes plus numerous tracks and paths allows you to explore this peaceful and delightful area with ease be it by car, bicycle, horse or on foot. The river Lot lies 50 metres from and below the site. The river offers you virgin scenery and various naturally created beaches plus many good spots for anglers.
