Description

Profile
The family campsite Le Chambron has 50 pitches on about 2 hectares of land, along a small stream, the center being the former farm where the two gîtes are also located. The stream is suitable for splashing and playing; in … the dry summer season it is a small but always cool stream. Due to the quiet and natural environment, there is hardly any light pollution. This results in an impressive night sky for amateur astronomers. (And on average at least one shooting star per night). Le Chambron is very suitable for devoted tent campers , but also caravans take place. Of course you can also opt for practical comfort in one of our mobile homes or gîtes . There is a pleasant spacious swimming pool (16 mx 8 m) with sloping bottom and a convenient staircase in the shallow end. Free access for all campers and tenants, open from 8.00 to 20.00. The pool is closed with a childproof access. For the little ones there is also a playground and of course the pétanque court is available at this French campsite. Every week there are cheerful competitions in which you can participate. (Non-French and amateurs included!). Wi-Fi access is free in the reception area of the campground. All pitches are accessible to people with reduced mobility, but not in the rental areas. As part of an environmentally conscious business, Le Chambron uses separate waste collection. Bread and vegetable scraps are also collected for the chickens and horses. The region offers activities for almost every taste. Of course you can use our barbecue area and tables free of charge, also on the covered terrace to eat together.
