Welcome to Camping Le Cardinal, your welcoming 2-star retreat just outside the historic town of Richelieu in the heart of the Indre-et-Loire department. We look forward to welcoming you to our family-run site, which, thanks to its idyllic location, is …the ideal starting point for exploring the countryside and the famous châteaux of the Loire Valley. Our focus is on offering campers a comfortable and carefree experience, which is why we attach great importance to high-quality facilities. Our spacious grounds offer a total of 42 generous pitches and 16 modern rental accommodations. A very special highlight for guests in our mobile homes are the private, heated pools, which allow for exclusive swimming fun in a private atmosphere right next to the accommodation. In addition, our communal heated swimming pool offers all visitors the perfect refreshment and relaxation after an eventful day. For all travellers who are on the road with their motorhomes, we have a professional supply and disposal station so that you can remain independent throughout your stay. Our sanitary facilities are modern, well-maintained and barrier-free to guarantee maximum comfort for all guests. Families particularly appreciate our safe playground, where children can romp around to their heart's content while their parents enjoy the peace and quiet of the green surroundings. The immediate vicinity of the magnificent Richelieu Park and the adjacent lake offers wonderful opportunities for long walks. We offer a special service for passionate anglers: you can conveniently purchase the necessary fishing permits for the lake directly from us at reception. To encourage socialising, barbecue facilities and picnic tables are available on site, inviting you to enjoy evenings together under the open sky. We know that holidays are best enjoyed with pets, so your four-legged friends are also very welcome here. Our dedicated team is always on hand to answer any questions you may have about the facilities or to give you tips for excursions. Experience a holiday that harmoniously combines relaxation in nature, modern comfort and culture in the beautiful Centre-Loire Valley.
