"Rugged welcome with a heart :) - Great atmosphere on the pitch. Quick contact with other campers. There was always something to do and yet nobody was bothered

"beautiful location on the river, a little out of the way, but hardly any night's rest - The location on the river is great, even if a little out of the way, sanitary facilities meet the usual French standards. Baquette and croissants were sold out very quickly in the morning, quality ok. During our stay there was a program at the bar 3 times a week until after 11:00 p.m., once a week even disco until after 0:30 a.m. On our pitch, sleeping until the end of the program was out of the question. When we asked about this, we were given the terse answer that it was written on our homepage. Therefore not recommended with younger children. We won't be back.

"Beautiful place in a dreamlike landscape - Wonderful place in a fantastic landscape, invites you to switch off and relax. If you like frog concerts, this is the place for you. The mobile home was cozy and perfect for our needs (2 people)

" - We have known this place since 2009 and have already been there five times. It is pure peace and relaxation. Of course, in July and August there is a lot going on at the bar until midnight and afterwards with a disco etc.. Otherwise, the night's rest from 11 pm to 8 am is absolutely sufficient. (Not for German and Belgian pedants who want to go to sleep at 9pm!) There are mainly French and English people on the site. Otherwise the rest of united Europe. The owners Alain, Catherine and Patrick at the bar are always there for the guests. Any help is provided. A large petanque court, table tennis table and a children's playground together with the small but beautiful swimming pool are a perfect oasis of relaxation. The valley is absolutely quiet, as in this part trucks are only allowed to drive up to a height of 3.85 meters and there is no railroad line, you only hear owls and dormice at night, but they can really be irritating. In the neighboring village you will find a super good butcher, a Spar and a small grocery store. 3 small bars and restaurants, which in our opinion are not worth the money. In addition to canoeing, you can go horse riding, hiking and also go on very nice bike tours. We can recommend this quiet place for camping and the tidy mobile homes directly on the banks of the Dordogne to all nature lovers looking for relaxation (for whom people are also part of it) with and without children.
