"A Little Oasis of Calm Amid the Tourist Hustle and Bustle - This region is very popular with tourists, and this campground offers a little oasis of calm amid the hustle and bustle. It’s in a fantastic location right by the sea and on the edge of a small town with shops, bars, and restaurants. Located about 20 km from the highway, we used it as a stopover—it was fine for that, but I wouldn’t camp there for any longer. What’s really nice is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, some of whom also speak German. The security staff and the security system (camping wristbands, gate locks) also make you feel safe. The campsites vary in size, but overall the site feels a bit cramped. You’d probably have to snag one of the great spots right on the beach to get a sense of openness—or you’d have to like being cramped (which I suspect is the case, based on a conversation with a regular), to really feel at home here. There’s also a lot going on outside the campground; at night, there was noise from a nearby disco. The restroom facilities are constantly at capacity but are attractively designed. Nowhere do you ever feel like you’re alone. At the adjacent beachfront restaurant, “Les pieds dans l’eau,” you should definitely make a reservation. Of course, we hadn’t done so because we arrived late, but we could have taken our food down to the beach. That turned out not to be necessary, though, since we were eventually assigned a table after a while. The food was good, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was laid-back and relaxed. The beach is a paradise for kids—with fine sand and shallow water.

"directly by the sea - Campsite has direct access to the sea. Restaurants and stores within walking distance. The pitches are rather small, despite early booking with all lengths and widths, we would not have been able to extend the awning. Parking space for the car should cost 4€ per day on the site, but we received this free of charge from the operator. Very nice reception, they speak fluent German and of course English. Sanitary area is very simple, was thoroughly cleaned with a high-pressure hose, unfortunately there are fellow campers who have not enjoyed any education. WLAN for two weeks 17€, during the day the reception worked, in the evening bad to not at all, good place for beach vacation

"Very nice, clean small campsite - We stayed at this beautifully situated campsite two years in a row. We were on a nice large pitch with a view of the sea. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and the staff are very friendly. We will be back again.

"Camping in its original form - Great location, small, but the pitches are big enough, for larger caravans or motorhomes perhaps the dune area is a bit difficult to access. Great friendly staff and the only site that is open from March 15. we will be back

"2018-France - Reservation by e-mail without any problem. Small campsite, large pitches. Directly on the beach. Very friendly, clean. Various countries, including many Germans. Maneuvering assistance required for large caravans. Access to the campsite (last 100 meters) narrow/narrow. Marseille (2 hours - 234 km), Toulouse (2 hours - 207 km) are possible as a day trip.

"Directly on the beach, campsite itself very simple. - Small campsite right on the beach. The contact for the reservation was via email - very fast and very friendly. There were almost only (very nice!) French people at the campsite (July 2017). Only one sanitary building on site, which can be a problem in high season (especially as there are also standing toilets). The water temperature in the showers fluctuated depending on the time of day and the number of people wanting to swim. If you don't want any entertainment and want a beach vacation (without comfort), this is the place for you. At night, the music from the nearby Caraokabar can be heard deep into the night, the campers themselves respect the night's rest, so that no noise can be heard from the pitches after 11 pm. The campsite has no store, a baker comes to the site every day from 09.00-09.30, which makes it impossible to sleep late if you want fresh pastries for breakfast. The campsite has 3 stars, but should be rated as 2 stars due to the infrastructure. The beach is clean and wide, fine sand.
