"Run down and dead out of season - As a child, I visited this campsite almost every year and had very positive memories of it. Unfortunately, there is nothing left of my ideal childhood world. We even ended our vacation two nights early. The entire campsite is getting on in years and it seems that nothing is being repaired. You get the impression that money is simply being extracted from the existing structure. During our stay at the end of August / beginning of September, all the facilities that are advertised so highly were no longer open. At first I suspected that I had overlooked this. However, when I checked, I realized that there was no mention of this fact when booking, on the homepage or on social media. Only the pool bar and the supermarket were still open (towards the end, this was only open from 10am to 3pm and there weren't even any baked goods in the morning). At the pool bar itself, half of the dishes on the menu were always unavailable. The rest of the facilities were closed. Neither the restaurant nor the food truck were still open. Our children were really looking forward to the miniclub and the entertainment, but there was none. There was no more entertainment for adults either and you couldn't even hire canoes or SUPs on the beach... The playgrounds and sports facilities were also very run-down and sometimes dangerous for the children. Some of the sanitary facilities smelled very bad and were only cleaned sporadically. One of the planks of the bridge to the beach was broken. Instead of repairing it immediately, they simply put up a pylon. The staff were constantly annoyed when we asked questions. They didn't make you feel welcome and just seemed annoying. It's a real shame what this campsite has become, it used to be really nice here. Now it's just run down and lower middle class. "Goes like this - The sanitary facilities have recently been renovated, but are still not worthy of the 4 local stars. The beach is reached via a bridge over the road and a long, steep flight of steps.
