"Leider überfüllt - An sich ist das ein schöner Platz mit Charme in einer netten Umgebung. Stellplätze zwar staubig aber schön und großzügig, viel Schatten durch Bäume und top Sanitäranlagen. Autos dürfen nicht mit auf den Platz, was toll für Kinder ist und für Ruhe sorgt. Sie müssen auf einem extrem verstaubten, unbewachten Platz abgestellt werden. Von dort müssen Einkäufe und schlafende Kinder durch die Hitze geschleppt werden. Zudem hat das den Nebeneffekt (??), dass auf einen Stellplatz ohne Auto mehr Zelte passen. So standen in der HS auf fast allen Stellplätzen 3 bis 6 Zelte (also mehrere Familien), was zu einer gravierenden Überbelegung des Platzes geführt hat. Spürbar am gnadenlos überfüllten Pool und Strand, viel zu wenig Liegen und Reservierungstätigkeiten ab frühmorgens. Zum Teil endlose Wartezeiten an Bar und Restaurant, aber auch Supermarkt. Gebäck war teilweise trotz Vorbestellung nicht (ausreichend) vorhanden. Lärmpegel va abends und nachts groß. Hauptzielgruppe scheinen Fsmilien mit Kindern von 0-10 zu sein, für diese Gruppe gab es (griechisch sprachige) Animation bis in die Nacht. Stellplätze für WoMos und WoWa vorrangig rings um Bar und Pool - dort ist man aber einer Dauerbeschallung bis weit in die Nacht ausgesetzt. Wir haben den Platz insgesamt gemocht, glauben aber, dass er seinen besonderen Reiz und Charme so leider verlieren wird. Schade....

"Netter Campingplatz - Schöner gepflegter Campingplatz mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Wir haben ein bisschen die optische Abtrennung zwischen den Parzellen vermisst. Der Strand ist wunderschön und in der Vorsaison sind auch Hunde am Strand und im Wasser erlaubt. Außerhalb des Campingplatzes kann man den Strand entlang wunderbar mit dem Hund spazieren gehen. Das Restaurant am Platz ist gut, es gibt aber auch gleich nebenan eine sehr nette Taverne. Toilette haben wir nicht benutzt, die Duschen waren sauber und mit heißem Wasser. Wir hatten eine wunderschönen Aufenthalt!

"Entspannt und komfortabel zugleich - Auf Platz G12haben wir uns in den schönen Bäumen und blühenden Blumen sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Campingplatz hat insgesamt viel Flair und ist auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch der Mani und Gythio. Wir werden wieder kommen.

"Angenehm, aber vergessen Sunshinecamping club Rabatt - Viel Platz und in der Vorsaison relativ unbeschwert den Traumplatz gefunden; noch nicht alles geöffnet (Restaurant etc.)

"Bewertung - Wir werden wieder kommen hatten sehr schöne Tage auf dem Campingplatz, toll wäre eine Busverbindung nach Gythio ,die Parcellen waren vor ein paar Jahren noch deutlich größer und jetzt ist es doch sehr eng geplant und mit Wohnmobil doch auch zum Teil sehr schwierig einzuparken.

"Ein schöner erholsamer Campingplatz - Ein wirklich schöner erholsamer Campingplatz im Nordosten der wundervollen Mani. Wir haben hier einige fröhliche und gemütliche Tage verbracht, und dabei neue Freunde kennen gelernt. Das Personal sehr freundlich und nett. Für uns ist und bleibt die Peloponnes das Uraubsland Nr. 1, einfach unübertrefflich. Ein wunderschönes, geschichtsträchtiges Land, mit wundervollen, super freundlichen, hilfsbereiten Menschen und fantastischem Essen. Wir kommen auch auf diesen Platz sehr gerne wieder

Camping Gythion Bay is located 3 km. west of Gythion town on the road to Areopolis, on the beautiful beach of Mavrovouni. Forty square meters full of orange, olive, fig and nut trees create a pleasant and shady environment, where …you can freely select a space without delimited spots, but with an option for electricity supply and therefore enjoy a comfortable stay. The remarkable sandy beach of Mavrovouni, just in front of the campsite is highly recommended for swimming and sunbathing, while at the same time it is considered as one of the most well-known and suitable beaches for windsurfing in Greece. Modern settlements, variety of facilities and quality of services guarantee a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the camping. Tents,rooms & caravans with electricity supply and 2 or 4 beds can be rented after reservation. - Restaurant (open from 15th May until 15th September) - Mini market (open from 1st June until 30th September) - Bar (open from 15th June until 15th September) Electricity supply has been rennovated in 2011 and thus it is secure and powerful. There are no delimited places and moreover you can bring your car near to your tent or caravan. There are places with high trees, so that long campers can have access. Dogs are welcomed. Special prices for groups of caravans or school excursions. The camp site is open 1st April - 15th November

Camping Gythion Bay is located on the 3rd km of the national way Gythion − Areopolis, just in front of the beautiful Maurovouni beach, which is considered to be one of the most suitable beaches for windsurfing in Greece. The …camping covers an area of 40,000m2 full of orange, fig trees, mulberries, olive and nut trees, which create a pleasant and shady environment with fruits … at your disposal. Directly outside the camping you can have access to the wonderful beach of Mavrovouni. The beach is 5km long and it has the advantage that it is never crowded. In the morning (from 08:00 to 12:00) it is perfect for those who love to swim and later in the afternoon the wind benefits those who love to windsurf. Watching the windsurfers is still a very interesting show for those who lie on the beach. Moreover, it offers a proper environment for the caretta-caretta sea turtles, an endangered species, to lay their eggs. Their nests are protected by Archelon, a greek society for the Protection of the Sea Turtle.
