"Close to the action! - We really enjoyed the location directly on the beach promenade (with restaurants, ice cream stalls, children's playground, etc.) and close to the center. Bathing beaches with sunbathing lawns are also within easy walking distance. There are cycle paths right next to the campsite and public transport stops almost directly in front of the entrance. The campsite is still very quiet. But not always. When we were there, there was a fairground between the lake and the campsite. That takes one star off the rating for quietness. The site is easily accessible from the highway and via the beautiful road along the lake. Good starting point for hikes and via ferrata on Mont du Chat.

"Quiet place right on the lake - Beautiful and quiet campsite near the lake. Spacious access roads to the pitches. Shopping facilities within walking distance in the town center. Well-kept, clean and heated sanitary facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. We will certainly be back again

"Very nice place - but very crowded - Very nicely located pitch. Everything is quiet and clean. The campsite is full even in the low season - if you come without a reservation you have to be lucky to get a pitch.

"Good base for visiting Savoy - The campground is located in the center of the city of Aix-les-Bains. Good base to visit the region by car. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean. Little or no animation at the campsite. The campsite also lacks atmosphere.

"Good place as a stop-over - Good as an overnight stay on the way south: arrival still possible after 7pm, nice service. One pitch had dog poo on it, we were then offered another, which was also ok... Sanitary facilities old, but ok.

"Ideal as a transit point to the south - We stayed here this year on our way to the Camargue. The place is large, the reception very friendly, the sanitary facilities a bit outdated but clean, hot water is free, shopping facilities are nearby according to the reception and can be reached on foot. There is a café on the site where you can also buy bread. Nice lakeside promenade with several restaurants are less than 100 meters away. In the town there is a casino and thermal baths for gamblers. In the high season it can quickly become complete.
