Camping on the estate of a castle at Camping Château de la Rolandière. This small campsite is located in the Loire Valley in a secluded spot, in the middle of the 'Garden of France', Touraine. You are on a shady …estate where you can camp in peace and quiet in an intimate setting. You don't need much else. At most, a swim in the outdoor pool with a view of the castle. Relaxed camping An attractive, peaceful campsite unfolds within the castle walls. The front part of the site is more like an orchard. Here you camp under the trees, on pitches delimited by hedges, with a view of the castle. Overall, this campsite has an open ambience. The 50 pitches allow you to camp with plenty of privacy, but you will still be able to chat and socialise with other guests. However, if you are looking for a truly princely overnight stay, book one of the rooms in the castle. Swimming pool in the castle At the back of the campsite, next to the castle, is the swimming pool. This simple pool is not particularly generous, neither in size nor appearance. Nevertheless, you can have a wonderful swim in it, always with a view of the castle. The outdoor pool is well maintained and large enough for the number of guests. Food truck Next to the castle is an old building with, among other things, a lounge. There is also a bar and a terrace at the back. In the summer, a food truck comes by every evening to supply the campsite with homemade hamburgers.
