Located on the banks of the Loire River between Amboise and Chaumont-sur-Loire, Camping Municipal du Verdeau offers a peaceful stay in the heart of the UNESCO-listed Loire Valley. This friendly municipal campsite is an ideal stop for campers, motorhome travellers, …hikers and cyclists thanks to its prime location on the famous **Loire à Vélo** cycling route and the Via Tours section of the Camino de Santiago. Guests benefit from spacious shaded pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, modern sanitary facilities, electric hook-ups and a dedicated motorhome service area. Leisure facilities include a pétanque court, volleyball court, tennis courts, table tennis and a children's playground. Pets are welcome at no extra charge. Only a few kilometres from Amboise and the famous Loire castles, the campsite provides an excellent base for exploring vineyards, historic villages and the exceptional cultural heritage of the Loire Valley while enjoying a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
