"Good Location! - Loved it. Very well tent area, nice, by bike about 7 min to the main town of St. Malo, the campsite overlooks the next bay, very nice.

"Good location, simple place - Despite its simplicity, the site is recommended for a short stay as it is very close to St. Malo. It is quiet and simple. Bar Zero Point with many local visitors is great.

"Top as a pitch - flop as a campsite - Municipal site with an estimated 200 pitches, some with a view of the bay and the old town of St. Malo. Camping operations ended seasonally on September 3, 2018. However, the site remained open as a pitch. The sanitary facilities were locked, but electricity and water were available. The occupancy rate was only around 5%, i.e. top pitches for everyone. We paid 12.50 for our motorhome with 2 people and electricity in mid-September. Reception was open for a short time in the morning and afternoon. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the old town of St. Malo. The site is on a hill and some of the pitches are very uneven. Electricity posts are rare, 50m of cable is advisable. On the site and adjacent to it, there are bullet-ridden bunkers and anti-aircraft positions from the Second World War. --------------------- We were here once before in 2012. If nothing has changed in the sanitary facilities, they are not worth 2 stars. The fact that the facilities are currently closed enhances the site.

"Ideal for sightseeing - Centrally located and yet in the countryside. Perfect for visiting St. Malo and Dinard. Sanitary facilities old and superficially cleaned. No toilet seats, everything unisex. OK for a few days.

"A little spartan, but good! - I spent a night here with my motorcycle and tent as my ferry to the Channel Islands was due to leave early in the morning. The pitch was not perfectly flat, but nicely situated and partly shady. You have to be aware that the sanitary facilities are practically at the entrance to the Memorial... but they were clean. From the campsite you can quickly reach the town or the beach on foot. However, I found reserving a pitch on the internet a bit awkward, as there was initially no confirmation online - this then arrived by post about a week later.

"A very exciting campsite - Campers who want luxury are in the wrong place here. The sanitary facilities are more reminiscent of the 50s but were always clean. The water flow could be improved so that you don't always have to press the button when showering. The location of the CP is simply great at the harbor right next to a fortress from the Second World War (museum visit worthwhile). Saint Malo old town is within easy walking distance. The pitches are often a bit sloping and very soggy when it rains. The pitch we had booked was too wet, so we were able to choose another one straight away. The staff are very nice.

Camping de la Cité d’Alet is located in the Saint-Servan district of Saint-Malo, right on a small peninsula with views of the sea, the old town, and the Solidor Tower. The campsite is simple but very popular because of its …great location. Many pitches offer a beautiful view of the bay and the water. There are around 220 pitches for tents, motorhomes, and caravans, as well as a few rental options like Coco Sweet tents. Facilities are basic but include everything you need: sanitary blocks, washing machines, a small playground, mini-golf, and bike rental. In summer, food trucks, a small bistro with a bar, and occasional concerts add to the atmosphere. From the campsite, you can walk along the GR 34 trail, explore Saint-Malo by bike, or take a boat across to Dinard. It’s a great spot for anyone who enjoys nature, sea views, and a relaxed vibe without too many extras.
