"A great place for kids and parents - It was a wonderful experience for us as a family. The kids felt right at home, and we parents were able to relax as well. The atmosphere at the campground was great, and the activities were fantastic, too. We’d love to come back.

"A wonderful and relaxing stay - We had a truly wonderful stay at the 1_NL_Eikenhof campground and felt right at home from the very beginning. We especially loved the quiet and pleasant atmosphere. The other families and guests were also very friendly and considerate, which allowed us to really enjoy our vacation and relax. A big shout-out to the entire team! Whether at the front desk, among the technical staff, or the staff who take care of the pool—everyone was very friendly, helpful, and dedicated. You can tell that everyone goes out of their way to make sure guests feel comfortable. We also really liked the surroundings. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place where you can truly unwind and have a relaxing time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend the campground. Many thanks to the entire team for the wonderful time! We’ll definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next stay! 😊

"Beautiful Campground - The campground is very clean, and the staff is more than helpful. There’s always someone available to assist you. You get immediate help if anything comes up. There are many places to visit nearby, some of which are within walking distance (e.g., the climbing park). The prices at the kiosk are very reasonable.

"A wonderful vacation with toddlers. Endless highlights! - We had an absolutely fantastic time here and a truly unforgettable vacation! We were traveling as two friends with our two toddlers, and the resort completely exceeded our expectations. The absolute highlight for the little ones (and, to be honest, for us too) was definitely the new swimming pool. It’s just so incredibly cool—there’s even a car right in the middle of the pool area, which the kids absolutely loved! My son loved it more than anything. We especially loved that the slides were designed so that we could easily use them together with our toddlers. The kids had a blast and didn’t want to leave at all. The lake on the property was just as lovely. The sandy area is perfect for small children, so they could spend hours digging in the sand, building mud castles, and playing by the water. Another huge plus in our daily routine was the location of our lodging: there was a small playground right in front of the patio. That was worth its weight in gold on vacation! The kids could dash outside right after getting up in the morning and play safely while we stayed relaxed on the patio and finished our coffee. There’s generally more than enough to do at the campground, so you really never get bored for a second. One quick note about the accommodations: The beds were really amazing for camping standards and super comfortable. Of course, anyone expecting a 5-star hotel bed here hasn’t quite grasped the concept of camping. But for a camping vacation, the sleeping comfort was truly top-notch, and we all slept wonderfully. We’re absolutely thrilled, really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be back!

"1 week Changing weather - It was a lovely week for us despite the changeable weather. Our 3 children (2,7,12) liked it and they said they would like to visit this place again. For us parents there were also many relaxing hours where the kids were simply busy and playing. We would recommend this place.

Vakantiepark de Eikenhof ligt op maar 15 kilometer van Giethoorn, ook wel het "Hollandse Venetië" genoemd door zijn karakteristieke bruggetjes en waterwegen. Het vakantiepark is gelegen in een groene en natuurlijke omgeving, je kunt er kamperen en en comfortabele luxe …stacaravans en andere bijzondere accommodaties huren. Het vakantiepark biedt veel vermaak voor zowel jong als oud: een verwarmd buitenzwembad, een verwarmd peuterbad en een nieuwe glijbaan, een spacebowl met double slide met daarbij een grote ligweide. Ook beschikt het park over een prachtige horecavoorziening, er is een gezellig restaurant waar je heerlijk kunt eten en een bar waar je een lekker drankje kan drinken. Voor de liefhebber van een snelle hap is er ook een snackbar op het park. Midden op het park is het grote speeldorp waar kinderen van alle leeftijden zich kunnen vermaken, denk aan speeltoestellen en diverse sportvelden. Mocht het weer wat minder zijn, dan kunnen de kids ook spelen in onze indoor speeltuin. Ook zijn er springkussens en een airtrampoline. Achterop het park is een recreatievijver met strandje en speeltoestellen. In de omgeving van het vakantiepark is er veel te beleven, zoals fiets- (fietsverhuur mogelijk bij ons) of wandeltochten door de Weerribben. Klimmen en klauteren is mogelijk in het naastgelegen Klimbos Avontuurlijk Paaslo. Een dagje naar het "strand" bij Netl de Wildste Tuin of dieren en planten ontdekken in de Orchideeënhoeve.
