"Camping in the countryside; everything on site; very friendly - Suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Spacious pitches. Small bathing lake directly at the site. Also very suitable for children. Only a few minutes from the highway, also easily accessible for travelers passing through. Numerous excursion possibilities by bike or car Small restaurant (brasserie) on site. Very friendly welcome!

"Week in Midwolda - CP beautifully situated, Midwolda is a smaller place, bakery, shopping facilities, ...available. Surrounding places easy to reach. We were in Groningen, Emden and Leer. In Tropiqua and cycling . ... Staff friendly and helpful. Sufficiently large pitches, but many very shady. Sanitary facilities a bit older, but in good order and clean.

"Green idyll - Nice and quiet, idyllic, very green. Sanitary clean and sufficient. The free dishwasher is not so great, as the dishes don't get really clean. You need €0.20 for hot water to wash up. Pitches nice and big with electricity, water and waste water. Very dog-friendly with good opportunities for walking (unfortunately lots of ticks). Great swimming lake and small playground. The bistro serves typical fried Dutch food at good prices, menus and ice cream. Not much going on in the village, the Oldambtmeer is 3.5km away, dogs are not allowed there. Otherwise lots of nature! You can't really hear the highway.

"After the visit we drove on. - We chose this campsite in May 2016 because of its remoteness and tranquillity. After visiting the site, we left without having achieved anything. The entrance area with a playground looked neat and tidy. If you walked further across the site, you realized that the boundaries / hedges were overgrown and thus reduced the size of the pitches. The sanitary facilities for tourists were not clean. None of the ladies' toilets were clean. (Skid marks, OB's) There were cobwebs under the men's washbasins. You could have written "sow" in the dust/dirt on the walls of the toilets. One toilet door did not close properly. The showers did not look inviting and bright either. The sanitary facilities were otherwise well equipped. There was even a dishwasher for very lazy people on a coin basis.

You can swim, enjoy the large slide and in summer take on the flotibaan …(a fun water obstacle course). The campsite offers good sanitary facilities, a brasserie with snack bar and terrace, free Wi‑Fi and plenty of play areas such as trampolines and playground equipment for children. There are sports fields for volleyball and football, and the site is beautifully located by the water with views over the canal. In the surrounding area you can explore green walking and cycling routes, discover beaches and watersports at Oldambtmeer, or go on fun day trips to nearby Midwolda, Blauwestad and the city of Groningen. There are also great family attractions such as indoor play parks, animal parks and opportunities to spot seals along the coast.
