"We had a great time! - We were guests at the campsite from August 19 to September 05, 2017. We are mobile home vacationers because we love the flair of camping but want to have a certain standard ;-) The site is beautifully laid out and the entrance area in particular is a real eye-catcher at night thanks to the illuminated palm trees. The staff at reception gave us an insight into how things work on the site as soon as we arrived. They speak English as well as German and above all are so nice, friendly and above all helpful We didn't notice anything of the French people we had been told were a bit unfriendly (we already had several acquaintances on the site) during our entire time in France - on the contrary, we found everyone on and off the site to be extremely helpful, friendly and above all full of life! But let's get back to the campsite. Apart from the odd dog turd, which is probably the fault of the dog owners rather than the operators, the site is very clean. The sanitary facilities are very basic, for example there are still a lot of standing or squat toilets and the sitting toilets don't have toilet seats. But these are things that are almost standard in France, as we discovered when we visited other camps in the area ;-) If the sanitary facilities were dirty, this was rarely due to the unmotivated cleaning team but to the increasing number of guests who don't know the word decency in any language in the world! The site is roughly divided into an area where there are mainly mobile homes, of which approx. 25-30% are not rental properties but permanent pitches belonging to private owners, and an area for caravans / tents / motorhomes. The pitches are large enough for most standard caravans (up to model size 560), but larger models and large motorhomes are in very short supply and the few pitches of this size are in great demand. There are various rental accommodations ranging from very basic to downright luxurious. Our chalet was right in the middle and was perfectly adequate for our requirements, the only thing that would be a good idea would be to buy new mattresses! The equipment with crockery, pots and pans etc., on the other hand, was exemplary and everything was clean on arrival! Attention with the chalet: There are only 2 hotplates! Considering the absolutely fair price, however, we really can't complain and anyone who does should go on vacation one or two places further for 700+ euros more ;-) There was entertainment until the end of August, i.e. until the end of the French school vacations and as we were in the south of France, the entertainment was, oh wonder, only in French! However, the animation team went to great lengths to include the Germans too, but in most cases this failed due to the super-stiff guests from southern Germany! Animation goes on in the evening until 11.30pm / midnight so the place is not suitable for the "at 10pm it's quiet time" faction! And even if the animation on Lou Village ends at the end of August, it continues at full volume on the neighboring pitches until the end of the vacations! In general, the French are a very cheerful people and if there was music anywhere, there was dancing! There was a great atmosphere on the square and the mood in the evening was exuberant and we enjoyed it! This was over in one fell swoop at the end of the French school vacations and from that day onwards the bar and everything was deserted as the numerous German guests preferred to keep to themselves and, with a few exceptions, didn't seem to want to indulge in anything! During our stay, there were two international matches of the German national soccer team and even the Germans dared to enter the bar area and make themselves comfortable. However, they didn't drink anything and in the evening the Germans went to the caravan or mobile home, ate and drank something and then came back. That was mega embarrassing and you don't have to be surprised that especially the South German cheap guests (in the last 3 weeks of the vacation it is super cheap to go on vacation down there) go on vacation down there but will never arrive (emotionally)! And back to the campsite ;-) The supermarket is adequately stocked but 300 meters further on there is a small SPAR, which is better stocked and also cheaper. There is a small bakery store selling baguettes, croissants etc. and the prices there were also very good. However, there was also a bakery a few meters away whose baked goods were so delicious that it was very difficult for us to be unfaithful to our bakery saleswoman on the square ;-) What else is there? A great pool area with several slides and an additional separate swimmers' area, where there has even been a jacuzzi since this year. There is a private diving school on the campsite itself. There is direct access to the sea from the campsite and a beautiful beach for our needs. There is even a beach bar to the left, but it was too expensive for us! Until September 1st, a small train runs regularly to Valras and the return trip costs an affordable € 4,- After that, the only option is the Adidas or the bike ;-) There are many excursion destinations in the surrounding area and even more to discover. The 18 days were not enough for us and that's why we will visit this wonderful area again next year.

"Beautiful place - The whole area is full of campsites. This one has direct access to the sea. The swimming pools are well suited for children, large but not too big. The mini supermarket was open at Whitsun. Everything was there. Sanitary facilities very clean. Showers slightly under-temperature depending on the time of day. The pitches are very nice, big enough. The pitch was very moderately occupied, so there is plenty of choice. The pitches are on grass with beautiful yellow flowers in May/June. Like a flower meadow. Plenty of shade. Noise from the neighboring pitch on holidays. Attention, the volume varies depending on the pitch position. But it ends at midnight. Unfortunately we had a mosquito year. It got annoying in the evening. Even worse are the small sand flies, which are tiny but whose bites sometimes cause terrible spots that itch worse than the bites of gnats. The water was bitterly cold in the first week. In the second week there were warm currents. But I don't care, I go into the water at any temperature. A friend of ours said that there are cold currents around Beziers, so if you want to swim early in the year, either go up to Montpellier or further down to the Spanish border. The beach is nice. Shopping is good. It's not far to the Carfour, better of course to the market hall in Valras to buy delicious fish. Lots of mobile homes, some of which are so close together that you get claustrophobic. The pitches are a much better tip here, as they offer a very pleasant atmosphere. ACSI accepted without any problems. Free choice of pitch
