Camping Caravaning Rose de Provence Reviews
- Frank D.June 2011Small, family-run campsite. Very friendly atmosphere. Pitches: approx. 80, mostly small, sunny to shady, mainly parceled out. Some long "electricity routes", so a 50 m drum is recommended. No fresh water/waste water connections. Sanitary facilities: small sanitary building. Toilet: men/women not separated.... Showers/washing: separate. Very clean !!! WiFi: 5 € per week. Shopping: there is nothing on the campsite but there is a small supermarket about 5 minutes' walk away (including baguettes in the morning). There is a slightly larger supermarket in Riez. If you want to visit the "big" supermarkets, you have to go to Manosque (approx. 38 km = 45 min. drive). Despite the relatively short distances, you need a lot of time due to the very mountainous landscape !!! Surroundings: Ideal starting point for the "Gorges du Verdon" or "Lac de Sainte Croix" (swimming opportunities), lavender fields, Grasse, Cote d'Azur etc. Conclusion: A simple, two-star campsite at a very reasonable price (check Internet homepage offers (www.rose-de-provence.com)). If you don't have high expectations, you'll be in very good hands here and can forget the 5* luxury.Automatically translated.Answered from Camping Caravaning Rose de Provence March 31, 2017Thank you very much for your review, however the photos date from June 2011, since 6 years the campsite has changed a lot!!! the vegetation has grown, there is now a beautiful heated pool with balneo with a children's pool and also beach with deckchairs and lounge, a trampoline, a bar and wifi that works throughout the campsite.Au plaisir de vous revoir.Nadine et Francis.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet.
