"Spacious place, close to the city with a quiet atmosphere - The medium-sized site is located under tall eucalyptus trees about 1 km from the beach and 3 km from the old town. You can choose your own pitch on this site, which is not parceled out. There are plenty of electricity connections at green illuminated pillars on the site. There is also a new, fairly large pool and a small store with a bread service. The reception is very friendly and English-speaking. The sanitary facilities are very clean and functional, they are thoroughly cleaned every morning, but "of course" there are no toilet seats/paper. Despite its location in the city (or at least in the middle of a built-up area), the site is very quiet. At €25 (2 pers./van, with electricity, card payment possible) p.n. in low season, it's a fair price. ACSI discount card holders pay only €19 for the same services. We felt very comfortable here.

"With 2 children at 22:00 without a car and a lot of luggage rudely turned away - After 1000 km by train, 5 hours by ferry and another 4 hours by train and an immense amount of luggage (handcart, buggy, hitchhiker backpack, 3 suitcases, 2 more suitcases, 1 handbag 20kg...) including tent and dog, we arrived on foot with two children at 22:00 and were rudely turned away by a rather robust gentleman with thinning hair, who was just the size of a flower! Weeks earlier I had been assured that there was enough space (even when I asked to come with the caravan!) We would even have spent the night in a makeshift beach shell if we hadn't been turned away. We wandered around Calvi like abandoned dogs for 2 hours. As all the hotels in Calvi were full, I snuck into a hotel parking lot with the children and let them sleep there!!!!

"Clean campsite with top pizzeria - The site was intended as a starting point for exploring the island and the Corsican beaches and has fully met this requirement. The pitches are not parceled out, but all offer shade from large and probably already old eucalyptus trees. The sanitary block in the upper area was relatively new and always clean. The lower sanitary block was a bit older, but also clean. The pizzeria was above average for a campsite and we went there several times!

" - For only one overnight stay (car + tent + 2P a 24EUR) special places right next to the street, therefore possibly street noise (mopeds!), a bit far to the sanitary facilities, restaurant from the price / performance ratio bad

" - ..the campsite is located right next to the main Calvi road, the campsite is well maintained, the beach is accessible via a narrow bush path, which also leads to the town centre. Price approx. 17€ for 2 persons/tent/car
