"For the whole family - We have been to this campsite several times now and it is suitable for all generations. Play facilities, bike course, for younger and older children and teenagers. Hiking and biking (own bike rental) along the Drau or up the surrounding mountains, water sports on the Drau or free use of the swimming pool, all within a short distance of the campsite. Friendly people at reception and on the campsite keep everything clean. Breakfast rolls and a small restaurant to satisfy hunger before or after the activities. We would love to come back.

"Gladly again! - The weather was wonderful at the beginning of September, swimming in the outdoor pool is free and very pleasant, we often had the sports pool to ourselves. Great region for hiking and cycling. Culinary delights too! We will definitely be back this September!

"Excellent vacation - Top campsite! The staff are very friendly and courteous. The cleaning staff do a great job and always strive for cleanliness. Entry to the swimming pool is free. There are numerous leisure activities for young and old! I would definitely recommend this campsite. It was an excellent and relaxing stay.

"Dreamlike - It was definitely the most beautiful campsite we have ever been to. A large selection of mountain tours and bike tours. Leisure activities such as rafting, canyoning and more. One week was definitely too short for us, because of course we couldn't experience everything. The great adventure swimming pool is right next to the campsite and simply perfect for children and also for us parents to cool off. Super friendly staff in every area. All open to questions. Everything was very clean and tidy. Simply great all round!!! We have booked for 2 weeks in 2023. The kids and us adults are really looking forward to it again.

"Great vacation! - Super equipped campsite, friendly staff. Good public transport connections. Close to the Drau cycle path and right next to the swimming pool with several pools. There are guided hikes and you can hire bikes and boats for a paddle tour. It was fantastic! Certainly not our last stay at Camping am Waldbad!

Profile

Spend your holiday at one of Carinthia’s most beautiful campsites south of the Alps, near Lake Weissensee, with 186 pitches and 18 mobile homes, as well as well-maintained sanitary facilities. The site is situated in the climatic health resort of …Dellach in the Drau Valley, right on the edge of the forest and next to the magnificent River Drau with its popular Drau Cycle Path and opportunities for canoeing on the Drau – ideal for hiking and nestled within a large, park-like leisure and sports complex. The adjoining outdoor swimming pool, featuring a sports and adventure pool, water slide and children’s pool, is available to our camping guests free of charge. Young people love our unique leisure complex with a pump track, skate park, football pitches, etc. During the summer months of July and August, we offer a varied entertainment programme for children. The campsite is open from mid-April to early October. The restaurant is open from early May to late August and treats you to culinary delights. Dogs are permitted on the pitches (on a lead), but are not allowed in our mobile homes. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the site. In the village, there are further guesthouses as well as a supermarket where you can purchase all the essentials for your daily needs. The railway station is approximately a 10-minute walk away.
