"Sehr gut - angefangen über das digitale Buchen des Platzes über den tollen Brötchervice und die sehr sauberen sanitären Anlagen hat uns besonders das freundliche und sehr hilfsbereite Personal gefallen. Wir hatten erst einen sehr schattigen Platz und es war überhaupt kein Problem einen neuen Platz zu buchen. Natürlich geht das nur, wenn Plätze frei sind. Die Ausage ihrer Mitarbeiterin „gehen Sie mit Ihrer Frau spazieren und suchen Sie sich den sonnigsten Platz aus, der frei ist“ fanden wir unglaublich toll…nochmals herzlichen Dank und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

"WLAN Empfang - WLAN hatte schlechten Empfang teilweise ohne Funktion. Für Bankgeschäfte während des Urlaubes nicht zu empfehlen.

"Super Platz!!! - Wir sind seit über 10 Jahren Camper. Dies ist einer der sehr wenigen Campingplätze, bei dem es gar nichts zu meckern gibt. Alles Top!!!

"Empfehlenswert - Sehr schöner Platz, große Stellpätze, Sanitären Anlagen sehr sauber und ausreichend vorhanden. Sauna Benutzung Inclusive. Schlüssel mussten an der Rezeption abgeholt werden, somit keine Gäste nur mal schauen. Einzieger Nachteil, kein Strand aber für Radfahrer ideal. Gretsiel oder Emden mit dem Rad gut erreichbar. Was nicht schön war, dass das Restaurant geschlossen war. Und das bei vollem Platz. Komme aber gerne wieder.

"Aufenthalt 03.10.-06.10.2024 - Der Platz ist sehr ruhig direkt am Deich gelegen. Hier findet jeder seine Ruhe abseits des Alltagstrubel. Die Einrichtungen sind sehr sauber.

Profile

Our Campsite is just a stone’s throw from the North Sea, behind the dike in Upleward, in the municipality of Krummhörn. It is an ideal place for holidays, where you can find peace and quiet and simply unwind. And the …fresh and salty North Sea air comes free! In the surrounding area from Emden to Norden there are lots of interesting destinations that are easy to reach by bike. Many minor roads and trails with no traffic start right from the site so you can enjoy relaxed cycling. If you want a bit more space, or would like to travel spontaneously without having to pack too much, we would be pleased to give you details of our rental properties. The chalets offer the comfort of small holiday homes and are fully equipped. UNESCO has declared the Wattenmeer part of the world natural heritage site. Because the people of Ostfriesland love their mudflats, you will find the only “dry beach” on the coast here, directly behind the dike. A playground, basket chairs and a beach volleyball court make this an inviting spot for relaxation. For the children there are playgrounds on the campsite and also right next to it on the dry beach. During the summer holidays there are activity leaders to look after the children. When the tide is in, you can swim and surf in the North Sea right behind the dike. You can look forward to a refreshing stay on the North Sea – at the Camping am Deich.
