"Check in - No reception, no restaurant open, as described on the internet... Bar open latest 21:30h...restaurant open... Okay it was a bit later like the low season 10.09......But according to the description you should call... This is what we did... After 7 calls on 2 different numbers... With additional mailbox message... Nobody answered the phone. Unfortunately we had to rely on this as we had two older dogs with us. Thank goodness our rescuer was a Dutch woman who didn't leave us alone until she found someone to open the gate for us, with her own key... without seeing the owners. Although the private house was on the property of the campsite. We were then able to drive onto the pitch, just to let you know that if something had happened to us, we would not have been able to drive out again. On the off chance and thinking of our dogs, we took the risk. Shortly afterwards, the owner who had been invited arrived, so we could have left a little note. After a little excuse that we weren't even sure... The night was not very good, as someone had walked around our van 4 times... That made the night short. Unfortunately the owners didn't even have an apology ready the day of and the day after.... Then you go to reception at around 10am and what do you find? Nobody... No one far and wide... At least after 10 minutes of searching, a sign of life, according to the owner, ah my husband was at reception the whole time, we laugh our heads off every time, as soon as he leaves... Someone comes... Apart from all the chaos, the people staying there were only there to help, painting the garden sheds, painting the garage door, digging holes.... And camping for free... No problem, it's just the lying that ruins everything... The sanitary facilities are getting a bit old, that wouldn't be a problem if the cleanliness was right... Spider webs, dog parking lot

"Nice swimming pool, otherwise quiet and good - We (2 adults + 2 children, aged 4 and 7) wanted to camp with our caravan in Carinthia for the last 3 NRW vacation weeks. We hadn't booked and all the "primary destinations" were full. That's why we ended up at this site. This much in advance: we have not regretted it. The site is run by Dutch people and 80-90% of all guests were (very nice) Dutch. The campsite has a really good outdoor pool and is in a quiet location. We were able to reserve a pitch by phone the day before we arrived. However, it turned out that the pitch was too small for our medium-sized caravan (7.2 m). Fortunately, the campsite consists of 2 parts, separated by a road with residential buildings. The 2nd part was a little further away from the outdoor pool, but had much larger pitches and some of them were even empty. We liked it there very much: large pitches, play facilities for the children and quiet (at least at night, during the day we were disturbed by the neighbor's air conditioning that ran forever, but unfortunately you have to expect that everywhere). Everything - especially the sanitary facilities - was simple, but functional and clean. Next to the swimming pool there was a small restaurant and a small store, neither of which we used. Unfortunately, practically all the sights could only be reached by a rather long drive. For example, there was also a (one!) hiking trail from the village, but we were advised not to take it: not for children. Despite the many horses in the area, we didn't find any opportunities to ride ponies. After 5 days there was space on a campsite that we had always wanted to try and we moved (and regretted it :-).
