"More promised than delivered - Far too expensive for what was on offer. We were there in the off-season, i.e. limited offer. Clean, but dilapidated, totally outdated sanitary facilities. Many broken doors on showers and toilets so that you can't lock them (nothing has changed in 3 weeks). In house 5 almost permanently no hot water in the men's area. Open and freely visible washing area, i.e. supervised intimate washing. Two of the four urinals had been removed and not replaced in the time available. Due to the open washing and showering facilities, very cold and brisk at low temperatures. Partly it smelled unpleasant. If you like it, you can experience active port activities from the industrial port of Koper right opposite. Large car and container ships in constant rotation or moored directly in front of it. The great and advertised cycling opportunities are always along the country roads and main roads without cycle paths (if at all, then only within the town limits). Conclusion: suitable as a stopover, even for a few days. Not recommended as a vacation spot for longer periods. The rating of the site is greatly exaggerated. During our stay, the site was at most half full. I would not want to experience the site in the high season and fully occupied. Never again. Unfortunately not just our opinion.

"Stay aborted - We had actually booked for longer and then broke off our stay early. We have been traveling with the camper for a few years now and had to experience an extremely poor price-performance ratio here. The site appears unkempt and the sanitary facilities are too small for the size of the site. The cleanliness here is also poor. Given the number of people in the high season, the cleaning frequency simply has to be increased. All in all, there is very little feel-good atmosphere. We cannot recommend the campsite.

"Reminds me of Yugoslavians - First of all, I don't want to criticize the CP, just point out facts! The air-conditioned reception gets 5*, friendly, competent check-in. The very large pitch is divided into markings and dotted with trees, which sometimes leads to very close relations with the neighbors, because caravans and cars cannot find space across the imaginary line. There are 5 sanitary blocks dotted around the site, which are also water taps, forcing you to lug around watering cans. The showers are secured by a transponder, but the toilets are also used by day visitors. Incidentally, there was no or only cold water for the women in House 4 in the evening. From 10.00 p.m. onwards, campers have to go to sleep, but not in the "Kantina" where there is sometimes good food and good dance music into the night. From the camp you can go on wonderful cycling tours along the Adriatic. Directly in front of the camp there is an excellent restaurant, seafood or aged steak, pasta - everything is delicious. There is also a well-stocked Mercator. All in all, if you can cope with a bit of tightness, are not afraid of swimming in front of a harbor and are a bit flexible, you can spend a nice vacation there. Of course there is plenty for children to do, but I won't go into that as we were traveling as a couple.

The Adria Campsite is the biggest and one of the best-kept campsites in the Slovene coastal area. On its 17.3 acres of land it offers 430 pitches.It is located right by the seashore and it is immersed in a beautiful …natural environment. The mild climate, the scents of the Mediterranean vegetation and the well-kept paths attract people who like living in contact with nature all year round.It s about an hour’s driving from Slovenia’s capital city, Ljubljana, and 10 minutes from Koper or the Italian border. It is an excellent starting point for visiting a number of Slovene tourist attractions as well as Istria and its many hidden treasures.
