"For transit only - For us the place is pretty run down. Apart from the reception, everything is outdated and partly dirty. We won't be back.

"A very bad campsite - Only the location of the campsite is good, everything else can be forgottenThe Pila campsite is getting worse and worse. The sanitary facilities are underground, at least the men's sanitary facilities. There is a strong smell of urine in the toilets. You can't even describe the smells in the men's showers. The pitch is totally unkempt, the paths are becoming more and more overgrown. The green areas are not cut and much more leaves a lot to be desired. The ADAC awards 3.5 stars for this, who wants to understand that. Or he who greases well drives well. The absolute crowning glory is the sound from the beach disco, which starts at around 10 pm and ends at around 4 am. It is impossible to get a decent night's sleep here. All complaints at reception are dismissed, we have no influence on that. Anyone who goes there voluntarily is to be pitied. We left earlier than planned.

"Space is OK - but there are nicer ones - Hot water for washing up and showering was not always available (at least in the middle/small wash house). One shower door was very difficult to open and close and then only with enormous noise - it was not repaired the whole 2 weeks. The sockets and light switches at the wash basins (ladies middle wash house) are only accessible for people over 170 cm. The pitches are quite narrow. However, we were lucky and had a plot without direct neighbors, as no camper or caravan could stand on the neighboring plot due to very low hanging branches. The site was very full despite being the end of August / beginning of September. There is relatively little on offer for children. The playground equipment is also past its best. The table tennis table and basketball hoop have also seen better days. The garbage cans are extremely smelly in these temperatures. The garbage collectors come at 7 a.m. and empty the garbage cans with an enormous amount of noise. So a place near the garbage cans is not recommended. All in all, however, the place was OK. The supermarket is easily accessible by bike or on foot. The promenade with ice cream stands and restaurants is also right next to the campsite. The beach is concrete, but you get used to it. It was OK, but we won't go there again.

"Great campsite, but cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired! - The location, price and friendliness are just right, which is why we have chosen this campsite for the second year. I doubt that there was 20% less occupancy in the high season, as it was packed. Three wash houses are simply not enough. You constantly had to queue for the toilets and showers. It's not enough to clean twice a day. It was very dirty and stank disgustingly! Something urgently needs to be done here! Then we will gladly come back.
